Nestled between Ealing and South Ealing, Red Box is a charming local cafĂ© that my friend and I recently visited based on its excellent ratings. True to the reviews, the coffee was impressively rich with a touch of subtle acidityâa profile I personally enjoy.
We visited around 2 PM, and though the cafĂ© offers a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, we found the selection of cakes and pastries almost entirely gone, which was disappointing. The intimate interior has a rustic charm that invites you to relax, though one aspect detracted from the experience. The friendly barista-owner was, unfortunately, frequently smoking on a chair by the entrance, causing the smell to drift into the cafĂ©.
