I had been wanting to come to this cute-looking-from-afar cafe for sometime but my experience was jarring. It is quite clear as soon as you step inside that this was once someone's passion but they had to sell it on. I too experienced the most awful headache-inducing trashy music which did not match the once rustic/thoughtful, but now tired furnishings. As for the coffee, cake and price I was rather shocked - £8.10 for a black americano and slice of loaf cake. I wouldn't mind spending that if the produce was good but the coffee was so bad I had to chuck in the bushes and the cake just tasted of oily fat and sugar leaving me feel rather gross. Other local cafes produce MUCH better coffee and pastries/cake for less. As for the garden, it looked so tired and unloved. The ashtrays were overflowing with soggy fag butts and I had to move moldy and wet cushions from the seat where I wanted to sit. Overall very disappointing. To the owner: thanks for your response. I didn't get a receipt , as it wasn't offered, but it was around 2pm on 29/09/25. Photos of the garden now attached. I appreciate it had rained the day before but it looked like no effort had been made to manage that and it was quite late the next day. The over flowing ashtrays were particularly off-putting

I popped in for a coffee with my friend. I didn’t realise there was a beautiful garden area at the back. I loved the decor here. There’s a plenty of seating and is dog friendly. I tried hot chocolate and my friend had latte. Very happy I found this cafe in my local area. Would be a good spot for working as well , however I noticed there was a poster saying do not use laptop for more than an hour. I don’t remember if it’s weekdays or weekends only. They have a selection of pastries as well which I’d love to try next time. Good customer service. I do recommend this if you’re in the area.

It was my first and the last time in that Cafe. Although, cake was delicious the customer service was awful. The male staff member widely opened the garden door without any notice to customers. Today, was very cold and extremely windy weather. I politely asked him if he can close the door as everyone in the back room asked for it. He was so rude and refused, in spite of the fact that I told him that I am unwell and it is too cold there. Above this garden door there is a sentence: ā€˜good vibes only’…. Unfortunately, it is not accurate :-(

Myself and some friends visited The Moon and Maybe recently and had a really lovely evening. We were made to feel very welcome. Louisa our waitress was charming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble and everything we ordered arrived quickly. The food was delicious and cocktails were very good. This place is a lovely little find the owner engaged with us and we found him to also be charming and he checked with us to ensure we were having a nice time. Excellent customer service all round. The venue is a coffee shop by day and I would describe it as a cocktail bar and nibbles by night. The menu is small but delicious and the bar list has an excellent choice of cocktails and all other drinks. The atmosphere is perfect for a get together with friends to catch up. We will definitely be going back. Thank you for a charming evening see...

My daughter Rebecca and I popped in after a busy afternoons putting in Gunnersby Park..

We were in need of delicious cake, a cold chai latte for Rebecca and a pot of Earl Grey for me.

We sat in the pleasant secluded garden with the resident robin and the sparrows.

When it came to cake we were spoilt for choice and after a little umming and erring we both went for Victoria sandwich.

Staff were friendly and welcoming and soon brought us our beverages and our generous slices of yummy cake.

The garden has many individual hidey holes where people can relax, have a chat, or read a book.

A lovely hidden gem 🐾 that's also...
