Renaissance Pizzeria — Restaurant in London

Our visit to renaissance pizza was much anticipated as we knew a pizza LEGEND would be in the house. We were not disappointed, it was absolutely delicious!

The pizza dough itself was light and fluffy, and the base was delicious too, you could tell the ingredients were really fresh. We also opted for the arancini, an Aperol spritz and a Limoncello spritz which were such a great addition, a very authentic experience for sure. We were kindly given a dessert on the house but forgive me I cannot remember the name of it, it was a warm dough with custard which I would recommend!

The staff were really nice and accommodating with us, even before we got there to assure us our booking was confirmed, they really went the extra mile for us, so thanks!

The ambience of the place is fantastic, I loved all the fun renaissance art dotted around with a fun pizza themed twist!

I rarely leave reviews for restaurants because the food usually isn’t life-changing, but please trust me when I say that this pizza changed my life. The dough was perfect, good hydration, soft, chewy, flavourful, full of character. The staff? Wonderful. The ambience? Beautiful theatrics with the oven and assembly line. This place is not getting nearly enough appreciation for the art that they are making. I believe whoever crowned Napoli on the road to be the best pizza in Europe should be put to shame because they have clearly not dined in at this restaurant.
