So good to find a Caribbean food spot where the flavours are on point. Once again a great indicator of a good authentic food spot is seeing the people's of that food spot frequent the place. I was happy to see that my people's were turning up to the spot like bees to honey. It was a conveyor belt of beautiful melanin packaged in joyous friends and families connecting over good food. We was with a big party of about 30 and while we was waiting, I noticed that all the plates returning to the kitchen were completely empty. Another good sign. I was situated next to the kitchen and smells that were proceeding were tantalisingly good. The last good sign before we had the food.

My only critique was the the waiting time before orders were taken took a bit long but as soon as they were taken they were very efficient in getting the food out to everyone.

When the food arrived it did not disappoint. We chose from the set menu but me and Wifey are too nuff so we added a few more starters to the party. We had the Ebony Wings, Tiger Prawns, Ribs and Calamari. Flavour of the Wings and Ribs were banging, the Prawns and the Calamari were cooked delightfully but needed a bit more punch for me.

Next I had Curry Goat and Wifey had Seabass in coconut milk. Both dishes were amazing! Goat was seasoned well and succulent and the Seabass was cooked perfectly and delicately seasoned. TT! The dishes were accompanied with steamed veg, fluffy basmati white rice and coconut infused rice and peas. Beautiful!

To finish of the meal I first ordered the Caribbean fruit cake and cream. I cheekily sent this back as it was not to my preference. I like my black cake to be more dense, packed with fruit and rich in alcohol. Their style was more fluffy and light which many of the other guests eagerly demolished. I reordered the sticky toffee pudding and ice-cream which was delicious. Wifey enjoyed the same.

Throughout the night the music was pumping and the drinks were flowing. I enjoyed a kicking rum punch and wifey sipped on a creamy thick pinacolada. They were both good.

Some would say that the experience was a bit pricey but I would disagree as I understand that you are not paying for ingredients alone but you are paying for a skilled team lead by a visionary chef who has bare overheads to meet before he gets what he deserves. So if you want some amazing food, good cocktails in a decent atmosphere, check out Roger's Kitchen. The best Caribbean Restaurant that I have...

I was visiting London from Florida. Roger's Kitchen stands as a beacon of culinary Caribbean excellence, offering a dining experience that transcends the ordinary. The ambiance at Roger's Kitchen strikes a harmonious balance between sophisticated elegance and a warm, cozy atmosphere. The decor is thoughtfully curated. It’s a setting that feels both special enough for a celebration and relaxed enough for a casual evening out. The warm greeting upon arrival, along with the attentive yet unobtrusive care throughout the meal, exemplifies the staff's professionalism and genuine hospitality. Our servers were knowledgeable and patient. The level of service significantly elevates the overall dining experience, making you feel truly valued as a guest. Roger's Kitchen boasts a menu that celebrates fresh ingredients and bold, delicious flavors, well presented. I had the Saltfish Fritters for starters, which were moist, not dry, not greasy, but just right. They were bursting with the savory essence of perfectly seasoned saltfish, encased in a delicate, golden-crisp exterior. They were light and flavorful. Next was Roger's Kitchen Seafood Platter. The seafood platter is a true testament to the kitchen's commitment to quality. A magnificent array of fresh, succulent seafood was artfully arranged, featuring everything from Sea Bass, Sea Bream, Prawns, and Scallops. Each component was cooked to perfection, retaining its natural sweetness and texture. For dessert, I had the Exquisite Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice Cream. The sticky toffee pudding is a dessert that will linger in your memory long after the last spoonful. This classic British dessert is elevated to an art form at Roger's Kitchen. It was neither too sweet nor too heavy. Paired with a scoop of perfectly chilled, creamy vanilla ice cream, the contrasting temperatures and textures created a truly exquisite finale. With its inviting ambiance, impeccable service, and a menu that delivers on every promise of flavor and quality, it stands out as a true gem. A memorable and thoroughly enjoyable visit whilst out in London with friends. Thank you, Mr. Roger himself and your awesome staff. Visited:...

I first went here in October 2023 for a birthday booking. Whilst the food was exceptional and the drinks, tasty and strong, the service was slightly slow and staggered. This was partly down to the fact that at the same time as my party of 10 there was also another party of 25+, so it’s understandable as there as a lot to manage. It took long for drinks to get to us – at this booking the food came out in a timely manner, so no complaints in that regard. On to the food : everything from the starter to the main to the dessert was beautiful. Everything was cooked to perfection (because we were a party of 10, we ate off the set menu and there is still an excellent choice off of this so we were very happy). We could not fault this food whatsoever, everyone enjoyed what they had. The drinks were really really nice and the owner Roger is a lovely man. My grandmother enjoyed it so much that she asked if I could book for her birthday in November (this was yesterday). In just four short weeks, the service has improved tenfold – not that it was particularly bad to begin with, but there was definitely obvious improvements to make it level with the quality and taste of the food. This time round, the staff were able to manage all the tables so much better – mind you all the tables were full. The drinks came out much faster which was great, they were as strong as ever & so tasty, and once again the food was brilliant. This is definitely a new family favourite restaurant and as it was my grandmother’s 93rd birthday, Roger himself gave her a bottle to take home which she was extremely pleased about. We will always come back here because we can rely on beautifully cooked and tasty food, delicious drinks and an amazing atmosphere, and now...

DON'T WALK, RUN!!! I went here during a solo birthday trip and celebrated my birthday here! I let them know ahead of time, I was celebrating my birthday, and they had a glass of champagne waiting for me! The food was exceptional!! I did a little dance with each bite. I enjoyed myself immensely!!!! Roger came to my table and talked with me. He was very cordial and personable. We had great convo about his journey to opening Roger's Kitchen! I had the Tempura of Sea Bass & Snapper with Sweet Chili Sauce for an appetizer. For my main course, I had the Roger's Signature Curry Goat, which was recommended by Roger. I'd never had goat before, and IT WAS SO GOOD!!! Dessert....OMG...I had the Jamaican rum truffles (life affirming 😂😂😂 or changing🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️) just damn good.. with a shot of Black Tears Spiced Rum!!!! TO DIE FOR!!!! Y'all the food was just DAMN GOOD!!!! One of the best birthday dinners!!! The vibe/ atmosphere was nice and cozy. Great for dinner with friends, solo, or date night. I do plan to come back to London soon and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!! Please go so they will still be open when I come back!!

Food: Two of us got Roger's seafood platter and one of us got the jerk chicken and the last person got the seabass. The person who got the jerk chicken was happy with their choice alongside the one who got the seabass. In contrast to this, the two of us who got Roger's seafood platter felt that while the seafood was done well, for me the scallop in particular was a highlight, there could have been more of it. Especially when it's the most expensive thing on the dinner menu if I recall correctly at £24. Service: The service was fine. The servers were attentive to our table and it was solid if unspectacular. The plus side to this was that when we told the waiter we had to go, they were very quick to get us our bill. Atmosphere: For me personally, the music there was a bit too loud. Especially when we were sat near the kitchen. It kind of made me feel like we had to speak a tad louder. On the other hand, the restaurant had a comfortable homey vibe and was comfortable. Overall, pretty happy with the place but I do wish that some of the portions of the mains were bigger.

I loved Roger’s Kitchen. When I first stepped in the vibe was great. Caribbean music playing and restaurant full. I went with my friend who’s Ghanaian and I must say; you’ve made a lasting impression on him as it was his first time trying salt-fish and Ackee as well as Roti with curry. He loved it. The curry goat was so good! It was tender and juicy, the curry sauce it self was the perfect thickness and amount. Curry is my favourite to cook at home in my Caribbean household, but wow I’ve been left craving Roger’s more than my own! The dish definitely lived up to the hype! The rum punch was punching too! As it should, all the flavours came through, including the alcohol. Good drinks. Bartender lady working on Saturday evening was also lovely! The only downside was the starter, the Salt fish fritter, not enough salt fish, too much dough. The fritter does pair well with the apple though.
