Camden Tandoori truly surprised me with its rich, authentic flavours from West Bengal and Bangladesh. I was especially impressed by their selection of regional dishes that go beyond the usual British curry house offerings. The Lamb Shatkora Curry was a standout — beautifully spiced, with the unique citrusy bitterness of shatkora adding real depth to the dish. The Brinjal Bhaji and Sag Bhaji were perfectly cooked, fragrant, and comforting, while the Lal Sag added a delicious earthy note that’s hard to find elsewhere. And the Aloo Bortha? Simple, nostalgic, and full of soul. If you’re looking for something genuinely different and closer to the heart of Bengali home cooking, this place is worth a visit. Warm service, honest food, and flavours that linger. Highly recommended.

Quite laid back and chill place, staffs were joking with us. We came here because going to an event nearby. The lamb biryani is very fragrant and I love the corianders on top, the rice itself is very mildly spicy so the corianders go well with it. The potato curry sauce on the side together gives the rice extra texture, and makes it less dry. Great value for money. You can ask to make it more spicy if you want to, they’ll ask whether you want red or green chilli! The masala chai however, is a bit disappointing, they used the chai tea bag and not the actual spices. It still tasted good, better than chained cafes but wasn’t authentic.

Been there with my girlfriend during our trip to London for a fast dinner, but we both ended up falling in love with the cuisine. Everything was perfect, from the appetizers to the side dishes, and the service was A+, everyone was so kind and we felt at home. 10/10 would recommend to any Indian cuisine lover, and 11/10 would recommend to anyone who still has to discover its wonders for the first time!

A Taste of India & Bangladesh Delivered:

Camden Tandoori has truly outdone themselves with their exceptional takeout service. From the moment I placed my order, I was impressed by their friendly and accommodating staff. Their ability to handle parties and events is a testament to their commitment to providing top-notch service. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish, from the succulent Tandoori chicken to the flavorful Chicken Tikka and Lamb Shish, was cooked to perfection. The fresh salad and complimentary poppadoms and mint sauce were the perfect finishing touches. My guests were raving about the deliciousness and authenticity of the food. The delivery service was prompt and efficient. The driver was even flexible enough to accommodate a slight change in delivery time, which I appreciated greatly. The little deposit required for large orders is a reasonable measure and to be expected. Overall, Camden Tandoori has earned their 4.6-star rating. Their exceptional service, delicious food, and convenient delivery make them a top choice for Indian cuisine in the area. I can't wait to dine in and order from them again for future events. Highly...

Was not really bad, but I don't really understand all theses positives reviews either. Decoration is very average at best, toilets are rudimentary (you'll cross some mold on the walls on your way down). Service was ok, no complain there. But, my main complain, is that is was not really Indian food, (from Bengladesh I believe but did not knew that beforehand). All the curries were either bland either too sweet, not bad, but just not what I was expecting (and thus I was disapointed). Taste like curries you could serve to children, not spicy at all and portion were rather small (but we had a reduction, maybe they cut the shares). So, I'm not saying don't go there, but don't trust blindly all the positive review, you have to decide if this is for you. The fact they serve zero alcohol was also a small issue for me, I do like a glass or two of real wine...
