Having seen glowing reviews for this place we were excited to visit. The decor inside is unique and interesting and staff were initially warm and inviting.

But! We waited 50 minutes for our food, and when it arrived it was unfortunately disappointing. We were seated downstairs and had only seen the waitress once since we ordered, so after 40 minutes or so I popped upstairs to ask about the food. I was abruptly told that, simply, that they were busy (the downstairs level was empty) and it became apparent that they had forgotten our food. We had ordered 3 pasta dishes so nothing that should take 50 mins. I went back downstairs and they brought us more olives while we waited, saying our food would be 2 mins. 10 minutes later the food arrived. For the seafood pasta dish, the pasta was undercooked (not al dente, simply undercooked) and the sausage tortelloni was bland in flavour and oily. The insides were an unappetising grey colour. We all agreed that at best the food was 'ok' but certainly nothing special.

All in all the food was expensive given the poor quality and the dull atmosphere. The waiting staff got more unfriendly as time went by and we weren't treated very kindly. There's clearly a lot more attention given to the upstairs, street-facing section of the shop. We were very disappointed with our visit and...

Just ate here with my siblings. We are mixed race and when we walked in, I got the distinct impression we weren't wanted. We had booked a table through Quando, so the person working there let us sit down. We had already ordered when an old Italian man walked in and said 'Heil Hitler' and saluted the staff but they didn't respond. He did this twice. I didn't see it but my siblings did. We stayed for the meal but shouldn't have. The female waitress served us and seemed okay. On the way out, when I told the male waiter/manager the other customer was racist, he told me the man was a loyal customer; he grinned at me and didn't do anything about it. My biggest regret is not leaving after my siblings told me about the salute. I believe the staff held the same beliefs as their 'loyal' customer. Maybe other ethnic people have had positive experiences, but this was ours....

One of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. The service was unbelievably slow, it took 1.5hrs for us to get our mains, and when they finally came I was served food that I was allergic to, despite informing the waiter of my allergy when placing the order and receiving his assurance it did not contain the allergy when he served it to me. I was about to start eating when he hurried back to take it away because he checked only after serving and turns out I couldn’t eat it after all.

I’m giving two stars instead of one because the waiter was at least friendly and offered to take the main off the bill, and the food was okay when it finally came. But serving people food they are allergic to and telling them it is safe to eat is an EXTREMELY dangerous and irresponsible thing to do and I absolutely cannot recommend anyone eats here, in particular if you...

Lovely Italian spot in Camden with great authentic flavors. The parmigiana do melanzane was amazing, great starter, quite filling but perfect to share —perfect to eat with the garlic bread or focaccia. The paccheri alla bolognese is definitely a winning main and we’ve ordered that a few times. The orchiette is also delicious, but most recently I loved the seasonal butternut squash and ricotta tortelloni, though it’s a little sweet and quite rich… a bit of lemon/ acid might have helped balance that out a little bit? Their small shop next door which also had a great selection of wine, Italian ingredients, and wonderful gelato.

Went with friends as we fancy have a good Italian lunch in the area, the rate was good was expecting a good Italian, But I left a little disappointed. The food was 4/10, the sauce was not proper Italian sauce. The atmosphere is a bit crowded with very small chairs, the decor is OK but the wall was filthy which is not a good seen while dining, and finally the price was exceptionally expensive, for a single buffalo mozzarella £12, and less than 100gm prosciutto ham £12.50 surprised the rest the same... Was NOT happy at all, won't recommend it and won't go back. The service was Ok though.

I think this is the best pasta I have ever had in my life! It was fresh and hand made and I just couldn’t believe how different & fresh it tasted. I honestly could eat here every night and not get sick of the food. The staff were absolutely lovely but the night I was there (Monday) must have been unexpectedly busy as there was only one staff member on who was rushed off his feet with all the food and drink orders. He did a fantastic job but I think service would have been better with a couple more team members on board. It didn’t take away from the amazing meal though
