Asked for a 3 x chicken strips meal, they said it would take a while to cook the strips but they could give me two chicken fillets instead. I said ok no problem and waited for the food. Among other things I paid for I left and realised I had been overcharged. I asked why and they said it was because I got fillets instead of strips. At NO point did they say it would be £4 more expensive. They even tried to act like it was MY fault for ordering more expensive items. They're absolute scammers and if Tennessee's Chicken round the corner is open, go there instead for much tastier food and...

£5 for a drum, 3 spicy wings, fries and a drink. Big drum with a nice juicy flavour and crispy coating. Normal sized wings with a classic hot wing flavour, although with less crunch. Good drink selection with the sugary Mirinda available without an added charge for the sugar tax. Fries were a completely standard thin-cut type. I was served promptly by a somewhat apathetic staff and my food was given to me quickly. There are 5 seats along the window, so some refuge from rain or after the pub. I'd say better than the KFC down the road for the money, and much quicker serving....

I'm reviewing this now, but the actual visit was about 4 months ago. The reason I'm reviewing them is that I am baffled by the reviews of the chips, they are horrendous. Whatever oil they use, it is terrible and actually made me feel ill. The burger wasn't great either. The reason there is 2 instead of 1 stars is that the chicken pieces we ordered were actually decent. I have returned another time, because there was nothing else open at that time of night. The chips were not quite as bad and not as oily, but still...
