I very disappointingly received a missing item last night from my Deliveroo Order: the fresh summer rolls at £6.75
I received a credit. But this doesn’t cover the fact that there wasn’t enough food last night (i.e. missing item) and not to mention that I’m now supposed to spend more money via deliveroo to make use of the credit. I’ll also then have to pay for the service charge and delivery charge.
I’d like a refund of the delivery fee, service charge and summer rolls. Either that or Rosa’s kitchen should deliver the summer rolls that were missing for free.
Furthermore, the stir fried red curry and long beans contained 4 slices of beef and was mainly all sauce and the Pad Thai prawns contained two prawns and was all mainly rice noodle. I wish I’d read the google reviews prior to ordering this, as there are many similar comments online regarding portion size / ratio of meat to sauce etc
Very disappointed and won’t be ordering from them again. I just mentioned it to a friend tonight, Carl Edlund, who said the same regarding his experience with Rosa’s Thai Kitchen, when he had a large order delivered to his bar in Hackney Wick (HWK). Missing items and stingey portions full of sauce.
This came from the Hackney cafe. The original one I used to go to in Shoreditch was nice and although expensive, the portions there seemed good. My friend also used to work there, Naura Suksomstarn.

Read moreThis was a special occasion, a birthday. We sent an email for special request, but never got a reply . We called uncountable times and never got an answer. As soon as we got in, we noticed the air extraction didn’t work, so windows or doors were opened , and it was really cold, and because of it, the birthday boy is sick today. We got the smell of food on hair and clothes . When sat at the table it was so sticky, not napkins, knifes.. we ordered and when the food arrived , we didn’t have the drinks served yet. We weren’t offered the prawn crackers, chicken satay overcooked, the sweet&sour chicken delicious. But they didn’t have most of the food offered in the web, disappointed as it is not specified on it. The service was quite nice, but not attention to detail at all.. However, the place need a lot of love, toilets doesn’t have locks or even toilet paper or a bin. It was a shame as we were highly recommended, but we went to the wrong brand . We wouldn’t recommend it at all, but we will try other brands to give it a second chance. Read moreI placed an order and what arrived was an absolute mess. The curry containers leaked badly, soaking through the paper bags and dripping everywhere (on my hands, the floor, and the kitchen counter). The bag was so drenched it was falling apart at the bottom from the moment the delivery guy wanted to hand it over to me.
What’s frustrating is the complete lack of thought that went into the packaging. You don’t pack food for delivery the same way you do for someone picking it up and going for a stroll. Delivery requires extra care: sturdier packaging, double-bagging, leak-proof containers, or at least a protective layer to contain any spills. None of that was done here.
To the store manager: I’m upset by this experience! You’ve failed big time, shown carelessness and a disregard for how food traveled from your kitchen to me as your customer. I spent so much time cleaning up my kitchen and the hallway, whilst trying to save as much food as possible. As such, I lost appetite because it’s hard to enjoy a meal when it arrives in such chaos.
