On reflection, we probably didn't need to order the starter as our pizzas were so vast - but being greedy, we did. The salad needed a bit of seasoning but otherwise it was perfectly fine; rocket and baby tomatoes, topped with a plump fresh burrata and some hot buttery sourdough toast - pretty much pizza ingredients if we'd thought it through ! The pizzas were probably the best we've eaten, certainly for some time; soft, pillowy dough, charred from the oven, properly tasty tomato sauce, creamy, stretchy fior di latte cheese (we could have opted for the buffalo milk version) a sprinkling of Grana Padana - and three (I counted) basil leaves (a few more would have been good). In spite of the double dose of carbs, one of us maintained he had room for pud. The choice was a no-brainer; it had to be the rum Baba. Absolutely not like any rum Baba you've had before, this was a generously rum-soaked sponge, generously decorated with aerated cream - and drizzled slightly less generously with very cherry syrup and (sadly only) three (of the most delicious, glossy, bottled) cherries. The drinks were reasonably priced; my Italian (from Varese) lager was excellent, hoppy, lemony not at all bitter. And the glass of Soave did indeed complement the Margherita as promised. Staff were friendly, service was efficient and the bill reasonable. A good evening! PS While you can opt for one or more of their much vaunted sauces, the chilli oil, a bottle of which you'll find on every table, certainly kept us happy.

Visited this newly opened pizza place which my friends have suggested to dine for lunch and even though pizza is not my favourite food this definitely changed my mind slightly. The restaurant has a very chill atmosphere almost like a cafe and the tables are all far apart, with ample upstairs and downstairs seatings, lots of comforty cushions around and booth seatings. Opted for the special Zucca pizza which is a pumpkin cream base pizza with fior di latte topped with goat cheese and roasted chestnut mushroom. The pizza is all handmade and fresh out of the oven with a thin crust which is what I like. Very generous portions and very good value costing only £13.5 for a special too. My pizza is slightly sweet which is different but exactly what I like though I would prefer if there are more toppings and more spread out. The menu said there’re pumpkin seeds and chilli flakes but I can’t to notice any, still it doesn’t change my mind about coming to this restaurant again!

I recently visited Rudy's Pizza in Shoreditch, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with a true sense of Italian authenticity in every detail. But what truly made the visit unforgettable was the incredible service we received from Amira. She went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience — from offering insightful recommendations on the menu to checking in on us throughout the meal with a warm and friendly smile. Her attentiveness and genuine care made us feel right at home. As for the pizza, it was simply outstanding — the crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings fresh and flavorful, and the overall combination absolutely delicious. You can tell the team at Rudy's takes pride in their food and their service. If you're in Shoreditch and craving fantastic pizza, Rudy’s is a must-visit. And if you're lucky enough to have Amira serving you, you’re in for a real treat!

Rudy's Rudy's Rudy's , back here once again, and it was an incredible experience. Arrived with my daughter, partner, and mother in law on New Years Eve .

We turned up, and luckily, they had space for us . Gave us sufficient time to decide what we wanted to eat to accompany the beverage that we had ordered previously.

On to the food, the pizza 🍕, literally it was like I was sat in Italy with a scrumptious perfectly crafted Pizza, made to perfection . From the crust to the toppings, from the warmth, to how the toppings sit succulently on the stretched dough.

Absolutely magnificent, recommended to absolutely anyone.

Onto the dessert, ice cream all round it was, and it tasted magical, seriously just what was needed after a filling pizza. When the dessert came, the waiter said it was on the house, not expected at all, which was extremely nice of them .

Requested the bill, and the manager added another discount, which again wasn't expected. Thank you.

Overall, the service was punctual, polite, and perfect.

Do not get me wrong, I'm having ice cream on the house and a manager discount at the end topped our visit. But to have incredible service to round off my 2023 in style . Paying the prices during these times of difficulty isn't easy, but to have the service to match it was a great choice on the night.

Thank...
