Great food, in a sketchy area. Woulda gave it a 5 however, taking off 3 stars because of their “policy” of not taking international cards despite the card being a Visa card which has been accepted everywhere in greater London. Since it was the end of night I had exactly the amount of the total in pounds. Forcing me to use all of my cash pounds which I had planned to use locally as it was my last day in London. I was left with no physical cash and had to only use card for the following last day in London which is truly annoying to use for small purchases. A real inconvenience for me as well since I wanted to purchase street food and in areas that only took physical pounds. I would’ve appreciated a heads up or a sign that stated that they don’t take international cards in their restaurant. Especially at 9pm when banks and other currency exchange areas are not open. Regardless; the food was good. If you’re coming here, do it in the daytime...

the food is overpriced, you are left with hungry, the amount and flavour of the dishes are very poor. The Staff is very rude, I was with a friend having a private conversation and a man I guess is the owner, kept coming to disrupt our conversation and trying to engage with very inappropriate suggestions and saying silly things that has nothing to do with the restaurant, like sarcastic things and mocking us, he was kind of a creep harrassing customers, making it as he is just "joking" I guess he felt that he could do this because we were speaking in spanish, so there's absolutely no respect, and that ruined our experience that was already very expensive.
The food is great waste of money, place looks dark and cheap for the price it has and the experience particularly with this man is creepy...
Read moreThis is a real hidden gem in London. I happened to be in the area and you are spoilt for choice with places, however, decided to take a chance on this restaurant. Please do not be put-off by its location and how it looks on the outside. Once inside, I was warmly welcomed, service was friendly and efficient, and most importantly, the food was incredible! I had the aji de gallina and it was a wonderful combination of and sweet and spicy. Take a chance on this place and you won't regret it.
The only advice I'd give to the owners is that when it is summer and the weather is hot (like it was when I visited), you might need to look into getting stronger AC or fans. In addition, to help the place look more welcoming you could let more light in through the windows. Maybe even think about outside seating, although, perhaps it...
