I got to the store today at 1pm. I was the first person to order my tea and taiyaki. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea and was told that it would take 7 mins. I thought that’s not bad. I asked if I should wait to outside as I had my son in a buggy and the store was kinda small. He said yes please so I did. A Customer came in after me and ordered multiple drinks. It was made and left before me. The 7 minutes had passed.
I am not exaggerating when I say about 3 Deliveroo drivers came to pick up their orders and they waited a bit aswell and all left before me. As I was waiting outside, a lady came up to me and asked if I was in queue. I said “no, I am just waiting for my order” so she proceeded to the shop to make her order.
Another Uber driver came and picked up their order so I decided to go inside to ask about my order. The lady who was inside was given the wrong drink so they made her drink right there on the spot and once she was given the right drink, she left.
I then asked where was my order and the guy said “sorry, it’s coming”, By this time, I had been waiting 40 MINUTES. I said yeah, but I was the first customer and I’ve been waiting outside in the cold with my son. I got told that they are busy -__-. He then made my drink that took literally 2 minutes to make. But he hadn’t made the taiyaki yet. At this point, I got so frustrated, I left the shop.
I don’t know if he forgot me or didn’t want to serve me because of my appearance. I spoke to him with the upmost respect but I was treated like a nobody and I spent £4.20 on a item I didn’t received because I had wasted 50 minutes for one drink to be made.

Read moreNot the best bubble tea I have had because the bubbles in one of my teas was abit harder than normal (felt old) but I will probably go back as they are the only bubble tea shop in the local area, so will give them another try incase they were having an off day.
Also customer service is so-so. They were slow even though there was only 1 other person before us. The girl working there seemed friendly to the customer infront of us but the guy who took our order got 1 of our drinks wrong and when we mentioned this, he insisted that he was right, so he didn't try to resolve anything. They should print and give out receipts with the orders clearly written down, otherwise they don't take responsibility for their mistakes and it becomes your word against theirs. He also didn't offer us any loyalty cards to be stamped (like the girl did to the other customer) despite us ordering 2 drinks each. These things left a bad impression on us.
Be aware that they are currently offering an incentive of 50% off future orders when you leave a review on Google, which I feel contributes to their high reviews and ratings. I don't need to make use of such an incentive as I would rather leave an honest...
Read moreI ordered via Deliveroo and had a very strange experience. Unfortunately Deliveroo refused to do anything about it and simply told me to leave feedback directly.
I placed an order for a basque cheesecake, tiramisu and a matcha milk drink. The order was marked as delivered, despite having not arrived, and no explanation was given as to how this could have happened (you have to give a code when the delivery arrives), there was no apology and I had to wait another hour while the order was replaced. I still have no idea what happened to the first order.
The bag smelled like onions or kimchi when it arrived... and when I opened the basque cheesecake, it had absorbed this smell, which I assume is from some kind of poor storage in their fridge. It was really offputting and I don't know if this is hygienic...
The tiramisu was ok but nothing special. Tasted like it was made with cream rather than egg in the mascarpone mix, but I get it... it also stated that it contained alcohol but I couldn't taste this at all. Go figure.
