Read moreSan Marco restaurant it really is a hidden treasure in Tottenham. A honest family run business which has been running for 47 years. That tells you all that you need to know . This place has such good qualities , the owner Graziano loves cooking and he’s immensely passionate about the restaurant and that adds to its daily freshly prepared food and very generous portions given to customers, as he has to make sure that they are content and happy with their meals.Food in general is out of this world tasty delicious...as he checks and assures everything is ok , before it gets to be send out...the owner does the cooking not in many places you get that. prices are very reasonable and in fact he kept his prices below average just to keep his customers and area happy. San Marco is not a Hilton hotel/restaurant and it is not a 5 star restaurant but the owner and the staff work very hard and try their best to keep the place going . Things go wrong sometimes when it gets very busy especially with football matches like any other place I suppose but like I said they try their best and make up for it when they acknowledge mistakes and correct them immediately. It’s very disappointing and unfair to see such bad reviews at a such short period of time ?
If you are looking for Hilton hotel sanmarco it is not the one but if you are looking for a welcoming authentic Italian restaurant with a warmth atmosphere and delicious food then you should definitely check it out. Please support the locals don’t...
Read moreOn Friday evening a friend and I were on our way home from a dinner and decided to stop by San Marco for a glass of wine after having eaten there before and had a pleasant experience. This time was quite different unfortunately. We arrived and asked if we could just stay for a drink and were kindly told by a young waitress that we would have to order food as they only had a license to serve alcohol with food. I asked if it was possible to order food but we would take it home. She went to ask another waitress and an older lady came back and without greeting us, she snapped saying - You cannot just drink here. There was no warmth to her voice. I responded, please could we order a bruschetta then please. She snapped back - No, a starter is not enough. We felt very unwelcome and that she could have spoken more professionally. Working in a customer facing job myself, I understand how difficult it can be when communicating with people, however we only wanted to understand what the rules were as we had not been in this situation before. Unfortunately, it has put us off from coming back despite the excellent food in the past and the other waitress who was more courteous with us. (I am not rating only on this experience though as that would not be fair, but I wanted you to be aware of the feeling we...
