We arrived around 6pm when majority of the retail shops closed. There was about 20 people ahead of us, one till open, roughly 5-7 people working in the kitchen, and the queue was going really slow. The manager popped to the cashier to help once for five minutes and then he went to the back… Took us about 20mins to get to the till. We placed our order, however when I ordered herb Mayo bacon fries, the cashier needed to ask around if they actually doing that or not. He apologised after, as he is new at the company. We wanted to pay with cash, however we’ve been told they are cashless, then we tried to pay with AmEx which was surprisingly not accepted. This was quite inconvenient and disappointing as we live in 2022 in London… We asked for the receipt which took again quite long time as the till roll finished, the cashier didn’t know how to change so a colleague of his had to jump in and help. By the time we got our receipt the queue was ending at the doorstep. When we wanted to sit down, the first TWO tables were sticky like someone poured a sugary drink all over them and let it dry… because the screen was not working, one of the coworker had to shout every time when an order was ready. We’ve ordered two burgers, herb Mayo bacon fries and lemonade. Both the buns were very yellow due to the large amount of butter. The double Meister burger was delicious, however the shack burger was slightly raw inside, the beef patty was burned outside and it was quite salty as well as the herb Mayo on the fries. We definitely had a better experience in this branch, however if I can give an advice, then try to put more staff on the rota for Sunday evenings as it can be pretty busy and allow the new staff better times to learn like Mondays or Tuesdays when it’s not...
Read moreWe recently dined at Shake Shack in Westfield Stratford and had an absolutely delightful experience, largely thanks to our server, Zuber. From the moment we walked in, Zuber greeted us with a warm and genuine smile, making us feel instantly welcome. His kindness and attentiveness throughout our visit were truly exceptional.
Zuber went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. He was quick to assist with our orders, patiently answering all our questions about the menu, and even offered some great recommendations. His attention to detail and dedication to providing top-notch service did not go unnoticed.
The food at Shake Shack was fabulous, as always. We decided to try the limited edition Thai Green Curry Burger, with Green Curry Fries and it was a burst of amazing flavours—spicy, savoury, and utterly delicious. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the Dragon Fruit Pomegranate drink was refreshing and unique. Every bite and sip was a testament to the quality and care Shake Shack puts into their menu.
But what truly made our visit stand out was Zuber’s exceptional service. He ensured our meals were served promptly and checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. His friendly demeanour and genuine care made our dining experience all the more enjoyable.
In a bustling place like Westfield Stratford, it’s rare to find such personalised and attentive service. Zuber’s dedication and professionalism truly set him apart, and he made our meal memorable. We will definitely be returning, and we highly recommend visiting Shake Shack and experiencing the excellent service...
Read moreI have had a lot of burgers (probably more than I should!) at various venues around London but I keep going back to this Shake Shack repeatedly as it has never disappointed. The meat patty itself is really tasty (I highly recommend a double Shackmeister - medium) and the cheesy chips are wonderful. It's a sloppy dirty burger that is oozing with flavour and juices and I find the balance of the ingredients just right. The chips are crinkle cut but executed really well - fluffy potato on the inside and a great crisp to the outside. Last week when I went with my sister, my order was taken incorrectly and I was given a different burger to what I was expecting. I mentioned this at the till, fully expecting there to be a massive fuss over trying to replace my burger and pay the difference in cost all whilst my sister's food was getting cold. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that instead, they sorted me out with the burger that I wanted in a record amount of time, waived aside the difference in cost and insisted that I sit back down to enjoy my meal. In a world where I despair at the plummeting standards in customer service, this was such a refreshing change. It is for the food and great service that I will continue to visit this branch of Shake Shack. The only constructive feedback that I would add is that I wish there was at least one IPA on the beer menu (there used to be some but I think they have all been removed).
