Shakeshuka, Palestine Eatery provided us with a memorable lunch experience today. My family and I ordered one portion each of shish taouk, lamb kofta, lamb kebab, and kibbeh, all of which were served with rice and salad. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, offering a taste of authentic Palestinian cuisine that was satisfying and enjoyable.
The shish taouk was succulent and seasoned to perfection, while the lamb kofta and lamb kebab boasted rich, savory flavors that delighted our taste buds. The kibbeh was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, showcasing the chef's skill in creating this traditional dish. The accompanying rice and salad complemented the meats well, rounding out the meal.
The ambiance of the eatery was warm and inviting, with a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring our needs were met throughout our visit.
While the food was undeniably delicious, we did find the prices to be a bit on the higher side. However, considering the quality and authenticity of the dishes, we felt it was a worthwhile treat.
Overall, Shakeshuka, Palestine Eatery provided a delightful dining experience that we would happily recommend to others looking to enjoy a taste of Palestinian cuisine. We left satisfied and look forward to returning for...

I’d often driven past ShakeShuka on the edge of the congestion charge zone heading into London, and I was always curious about the place. When I found out it served Palestinian cuisine, I knew I had to try it. I booked for a group of 25, and the manager was really helpful in accommodating us. We were seated downstairs in the basement, which turned out to be surprisingly spacious and nicely decorated—perfect for a large group.
The restaurant was packed even on a Saturday, a testament to its popularity. I had the Mixed Mezze for two, which included falafel, hummus, mutabal, labneh, wark enab (stuffed vine leaves), and halloumi—an excellent combination of flavours. I also tried the musakhan and the six-flavour pizza mix, since the manakish was unavailable. For dessert, I had the kunafah and was pleasantly surprised at how well the melted cheese, semolina, and honey syrup worked together.
While the staff were friendly and made a real effort, there were a few service hiccups—missed orders and delays—but they were quick to offer a complimentary replacement, which was appreciated.
Overall, ShakeShuka delivered a great meal and atmosphere, with authentic Palestinian dishes and generous hospitality....
Read moreHaving see the amazing reels on Instagram, our senses had already been awakened and we have wanted to visit Shakeshuka ever since we returned from Palestine. Thus far we had never made it. Yesterday we had 45 minutes before our train left London Marylebone and we were determined to make it. We had promised ourselves we would not leave London without finding Shakeshuka and trying at least one item. With the help of google maps and some good old determination we spotted the familiar pink exterior and ran towards it. Alas we were here! The service was amazing and despite the place being very busy it was as though a table of 4 had been reserved especially for us. We ordered a few items to eat in and the rest to bring back home. The hummus and olives took us immediately back to Palestine and even the salad just wow. Everything we ordered and tried was amazing and fresh. The Lahm Bi Ajeen was the best we have ever had and it’s made right there in front of you! Aside from the food transporting you levels of happiness beyond belief, the amazing hospitality and kindness of the staff is what will bring us back again and again ( thank you for the baklava and the mini Manakish) No trip to London will ever be the same without...
