Morrocan Hammam Spa - Adore Centre — Local services in London

I saw this place online and. It’s really beautiful and very clean. However, I absolutely do NOT recommend the Hammam experience. I was escorted to the hammam room and the steam room was cold. I waited until it was switched it on and It was lukewarm at best. The sauna steam room was then SWITCHED off after 10 minutes and i was then scrubbed with black soap, In a COLD steam room. The scrubbing ended in around 13 minutes and session ended.

It was explained to me by there is only 10 minutes of a heated steam room. Before it is switched off and the sauna isn’t on for longer than 10 minutes. I was shocked at this as this has never happened in any other Hammam service I have used. I asked why the steam room was switched off and It was explained to me that this is only on for 10 mins per person. I booked the classic Hammam spa (£50) and to be permitted to use a steam room for 10 minutes at that price is SHOCKING

Please if you are looking to use the steam room and RELAX. This is not for you! Only one person is allowed at a time. So you have a slot and then you leave the premises. As someone else will be waiting to use the steam room. Whereas at other Hammamz you are free to use the sauna rooms after completing your Hammam service. Here, the sauna room won’t even be warm your entire scrub! It is only on for TEN minutes.

The staff are lovely but if you are looking for a Hammam service you will be SHOCKED. I questioned whether the premium Hammam experience allows unlimited steam room and it was explained that there isn’t much difference. I think they get 15 minutes. Please, consider the steam room is not hot. Please consider the steam room will be switched on for 10 minutes MAXIMUM. And after that you will be scrubbed in the cold and then your session/booking is over. As someone else is booked in for the room.

I think they are keeping the electricity costs low. It is possible the entirety of the budget went towards the (very beautiful) interior of this place. Honestly, I really wanted to like this place, as someone who visits Hammam frequently. The staff are LOVELY. But you will be appalled at the Hammam experience. I asked why they did not have lockers and I was informed this will be arriving next week. The lady who did my Hammam was a polite personable lady. But overall. This was a minus 1 Hammam experience. Please, also ensure you pack a moisturiser/oil for your skin. When your very short session is done, there is no oil offered to moisturise, like most Hammam places. You are far better off going to a Hammam place that allows more than one person at a time to use and will permit you to use their (very hot) sauna rooms freely. As even your local gym wouldn’t restrict your sauna room usage. And most hammam places would offer your a Hammam scrub and allow you to relax in their sauna rooms following this

From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed and comfortable — the entire team was warm and friendly.
