This place is on a hidden spot with small seatings. The ambiance is cute, the wine selection is divine. You can pretty much find any region/country on the menu. The nibbles are limited, they just have a few cheese boards and thats about it. So dont expect to eat as well as you have your wine. The waitress lady was a disappointment unfortunately. My husband and I were on a romantic date. We had a very loud group with small children (!) next to us and we asked her if we can sit outside by the smoking area, which we didnt mind. She just said “no you cant because we will have more people coming in for the smoking area” mind you they dont have reservations.. when we told her the group next to us is too loud and we dont appreciate sitting by kids running around us, she said “well it is Saturday, i will be loud”. No customer service and not emphatical at all. When the other person came to bring the bill, we saw they added service charge!! I asked them to remove it because of what happened, the person who i think is one of the owners, just said ok sorry. I guess they have enough customers that they dont care if...
Read moreBeen here before 4 years ago when the guys just started. As a local living there and even when I moved away, their service has always been second to none. Its so hard finding a place in london who will provide you with genuine service and really care about their customers. Last time i came was 4 years ago when they were just starting out. For someone who is particular about the type of wine they like (doesnt have to be expensive but very dry kind) they gave the best suggestions. I ended up buying a few bottles to bring because I finally found recommendations and suited my taste - and weren’t too expensive either. They are so hospitable, caring, respectful and really personalise their recommendation to their customer. Definitely the best wine bar in london i have ever been to. Even compared to the most expensive ones or long standing. Thank you lads - will be...
Read moreWhat an absolute Shoreditch gem! This place has everything you want in a wine spot: cool but not try hard, tucked away enough to feel like you have discovered something special, and a wine list that keeps you coming back to try “just one more glass.”
The vibe is spot on: cozy corners, great music, and that buzz of people having a genuinely good time. The team are friendly without hovering and clearly love what they pour. They will happily steer you toward something new without any wine snob energy.
And the food… wow. The bruschetta is next level, perfectly toasted bread with generous toppings that you would happily build a night around. Pair it with a bold red or a crisp white and it is the perfect evening starter or ender.
If you want a place that is fun, a little cheeky, and guaranteed to impress your mates or date, Shoreditch Wine...
