EDIT 11:30am 22/08/2017 Zero stars again
Having been a regular customer since the opening of the Harrow Branch and the welcoming smile of Abhijeet who used to work there, I decided to give Shree Krishna Vadapav another go.
Not had breakfast yet, I decided that a nice brunch would help and enquired about Lunch Specials. The guys at the counter was unusually Arrogant and I was wondering if it was because of my plain old TShirt. Kept asking repeatedly and could not get a straight answer. Then he said that he couldn't serve me Lunch as it was 11.30am and Lunch starts at 12.00pm
Since he was glaring at me, having self respect i didn't turn my eyes away. I asked him for his name and he responds angrily "You know my name" like in a possible streetfight. I was apauled and then realised that he was Amit and I had raised a complaint about him. I thought that he would be trained and he would have remorse for his behaviour from last time. However; it seems that he has had a grudge.
Asked for the owners name and he made an awkward head gesture and walked away without acknowledging my question.
Nikita came out and we spoke in our native language "Marathi" and she was a pleasant as a person can be, in fact she was very courteous. Wish all your staff were like Nikita and Abhijeet.
Sadly, I walked away hungry and upset that I will not be walking into that establishment anymore.
The owners need to understand that I have taken the time and effort to report this, there could be thousands of customers that could be walking away due to Amits arrogance. Also, you could verify this incidence on your CCTV cameras.
Goodbye.
EDIT: Zero Stars if possible I have been a customer since it opened many years ago and ave known almost ever staff by name. Ordered on Saturday and the order total was £7.25 for which I offered my card for payment. Amit declined stating card not accepted below £10.00 (there is a sign that shows that card payment acceptable for £0.50 charge for transaction below £10.00) I had £6.30 in change and told him that I will come back in a minute and pay the £0.95. In a very rude gesture, he kept the bag back on the counter and said that I can take the food after I paid the full amount. I WAS SHOCKED... having already given the £6.30 cash that I had in hand. Asked him whether he was being serious, and his response being "You haven't paid me in full and I cannot let you take this" I responded that it is only £0.95 and you are over-reacting and being rude. Amit's response was, you haven't paid in full. Customers behind and and around me were visibly upset with Amit's arrogance and I told him to remove one Vada Pav and give me the rest of the items. He obliged. All this for £0.95 I thought that goodwill was more important. I have added photos and a good review previously to help your business however; your staff have let you down. OLD REVIEW: Authentic Mumbai food - I can personally vouch for taste and quality as I've lived in Mumbai for a few months. Order over the phone and collect is preferred as the seating space and the waiting area is very very small. Vada Pav - highest...
Read moreThis was a few years ago but the experience is still fresh in memory. I made a special catering order for Satyanarayan Pooja. From start to finish the experience was extremely unpleasant. The owner was rude and hostile while taking the order, there was absolutely no follow up on their end, I was charged 250 pounds as it was a very large order with the assurance that the delivery cost was included. On the day of the event the food did not arrive till 3 Pm, the order was for 12:30. I kept calling the owner but no reply. Most of my guests went home hungry. Imagine having to send guest hungry on an auspicious occasion. When it finally arrived, the driver was even more rude than the owner and refused to deliver to door.. I live in the 13th floor. He even refused to bring it to the building door and had parked few hundred meters down the street. Moreover he charged 50 £ extra and when I mentioned that the owner had included delivery charges in the cost he threatened to just drive away. I called the owner to sort it out and the owner rudely snapped I had to pay what he asked and cut the call!! Since it was already late I paid and the driver then dumped the packages at the side on the road and drove off. I brought them up one by one. Further since most people had left I was left with so much food and no one to eat. My poor parents and I finished it in a week and whatever got spoilt had to be thrown away. I did not even have space in the fridge to keep so much food. I have never been there again and recommend my friends also told me to post online. so here...
Read moreFood is good, I won’t deny that except South Indian dishes(they don’t serve sambhar with it). This place is good for takeaway but it’s not kids friendly at all to eat in there as even if accidentally your kid vomits on the floor while eating idlies or paratha , they don’t have restrooms or even wash besins to wash your hands after genuinely informing them & cleaning the mess by yourself which the staff people ask you to clean it by yourself before you leave . Sounds little unhygienic . Even Dosa express in Wembley is a small place with good food but they have at least washrooms & separate place to wash hands if you need.(saying honestly, & not by being paid for this review)
Dear manager of SKVP,
Thank you for your response,
Cleaning our own mess is not an issue rather it’s an important and an appreciable act and that was the only reason we genuinely put tissues there immediately, informed your staff twice and cleaned it too but if we go to eat in somewhere and not only for takeout then practically with kids , people like us as a mom may require at least a place to wash hands , so the main concern was this when you call people to eat in, atleast you should have a place to wash hands as a basic & very important sanitation requirements not just as a facility for your customers because washing hands is as important for your customers as it is important to your staff especially when they really need to, as we also serve food to our children. Only giving sanitizer after cleaning the floor is not...
