SiamTown is a Thai restaurant located in South Croydon, London. It has been serving authentic Thai cuisine for over 20 years. The restaurant is known for its delicious food, friendly service, and reasonable prices.

The menu at SiamTown features a wide variety of Thai dishes, including curries, stir-fries, noodles, and rice dishes. There are also a number of vegetarian and vegan options available. The food is all made fresh to order, and the flavors are truly authentic.

We ordered the Chicken green curry, chicken red curry, chicken spicy noodles, and chicken gyoza dumplings. The food was all delicious and authentic. The green curry was flavorful and creamy, the red curry was spicy and satisfying, and the spicy noodles were packed with heat. The gyoza dumplings were also very good, with a crispy exterior and a flavorful filling

The service at SiamTown is excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to make recommendations. The restaurant is also very clean and well-maintained.

The prices at SiamTown are very reasonable. Main dishes typically cost between £10 and £15, and there are a number of set menus available for under £20.

Overall, SiamTown is a great option for anyone looking for delicious Thai food in South Croydon. The food is authentic, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it.

Here are some pros and cons of SiamTown:

Pros:

Delicious food Friendly service Reasonable prices Authentic Thai cuisine Wide variety of dishes to choose from Vegetarian and vegan options available

I’d been wanting to experience this restaurant for a while! I live locally and has tried their penang curry a couple of times as a takeaway but having my sister come to stay, I finally had a chance to experience eating in.

It’s very small and cosy (I’m sure the table & chair right by the door is a fire hazard! 🙃) but it does have a nice warm and welcoming vibe. The waitress was lovely and the menu choices looked so good it was difficult to choose what to have.

We ended up sharing the spring rolls & chicken gyoza to start, both were very very good! For mains, my sis had chicken pad Thai and I had prawns with ginger & spring onion. Both looked good but unfortunately we found both dishes to be strangely sweet. It was hard to describe but the sweetness ruined it a little for us which was a shame as we were very much looking forward to it.

I will still try Siam town again, as I’m hoping it was just a one off? I really want to like this place so will definitely be giving it another go and trying some different...

What a wonderful addition to South Croydon’s “restaurant quarter”. Seemingly, Siam Town is run by just two people and this tiny (probably 18-20 covers - and it was full) restaurant serves amazing Thai “street food” at prices unheard of in Croydon! The food is fabulous, tasty, and lovingly prepared - it is clear the owners love what they do. No drinks licence so you can bring your own (£2 a head). A substantial meal for two, including a bucket of lovely Thai crackers, was just £15 and had no service charge - as a result, the tip was much larger than usual. Other restaurants in the area take note - it is possible to serve great food without ripping people off. We walked home past about 20 other restaurants most of which were empty. Will definitely return - and...

Here i am, in the wake of eating packet ramen the night before. Left my home today hoping that greatness would be found along these streets, and i found Siam Town. The inside is a beautiful and cosy promise for a hefty menu packed with amazing dishes for a good price from Thailand. Their popular dish (in my opinion) were the soya noodles. I ordered them after being coerced by my sister, a siam town veteran. Read my lips, i know you cant see me but it feels like a cool line in a review....This is the best food i have eaten. Spiritual experience. 5 stars
