Disappointing and Disrespectful Experience at Simmons Shoreditch
I recently visited Simmons Shoreditch with a group of 10 ladies to celebrate a birthday, and I must say that the experience was far from enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this establishment has a severe lack of respect for its customers.
One of the ladies in our group was held up at the door and subjected to rude instructions from the bouncer. Instead of welcoming her and ensuring a smooth entrance, she was abruptly told to go outside and wait in the cold for 20 minutes to â sober upâ. Keep in mind that this was someone's birthday party, and we had no intention of causing any trouble. We simply wanted to have a good time and celebrate.
Despite her attempts to engage in a civil discussion with the bouncer, explaining the situation and expressing her desire to stay with the group, the bouncer showed no understanding or empathy. It was as if our presence was inconsequential to them. This unreasonable insistence on her leaving ultimately led to the entire party deciding to leave.
The treatment we received was not only rude but also humiliating. It is unacceptable for a business to treat its customers in such a disrespectful manner. We were left feeling disappointed and disheartened by the lack of professionalism displayed by the staff at Simmons Shoreditch.
As customers, we expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, especially when celebrating special occasions. Unfortunately, Simmons, Shoreditch failed to meet even the most basic standards of customer service. We were left questioning why we chose to spend our time and money at an establishment that clearly does not value its customers.
I hope that management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure that no other customers have to endure such a negative experience. Until then, I cannot recommend Simmons Shoreditch to anyone seeking a pleasant and respectful atmosphere for their celebrations.
Please think twice before considering Simmons , Shoreditch for your next event or night out. There are plenty of other establishments in the area that prioritize customer satisfaction and treat their patrons with the respect...
Read moreLast week me and my friends had a very bad encounter. The female security guard and one of the workers was very rude. A young girl was passed out on her back (which is very dangerous) on the side of the road and kept throwing up and crying. Me and my friends tried to get help and call an ambulance but they said its not necessary and continued to man-handle her. We suspected she got spiked as there was physical evidence on her body, (and some blood on her top) but they were very rude and dismissive and said she's fine. They put her in an uber with her friend and told her to lie that she's fine, she has not thrown up and is just tired. At one point they were being very rude towards her and telling her to "just stop" vomiting and crying and stand up, even though she wasn't even able to support herself to sit up and kept falling over. When me and my friends were speaking to them, they were very very rude. Overall the experience was very scary and worrying as these supposed professionals definitely didn't have the girls wellbeing in mind and It's frightening to think that it could have been me or someone I know in this position, being treated this way while in...
Read moreIf youâre after a cheeky night out with some proper quirky vibes, Simmons Bar in Shoreditch is where itâs at, mate. This place is all about fun â a bit retro, a bit funky, and theyâve always got somethinâ goinâ on. Cheap cocktails during happy hour? Yes, please! Youâll get a good few rounds in without breaking the bank, which is rare in London, innit?
The decorâs mad â youâve got neon lights, old-school games, and even a disco ball. Itâs like someone chucked Shoreditchâs personality into a blender and poured it out as a bar. Musicâs a mix of bangers from back in the day and more recent stuff, so thereâs always a bit of a groove goinâ.
Only reason itâs gettinâ four stars is âcos it gets rammed. Youâll be elbow-to-elbow by the bar, and finding a seat can be like huntin' for treasure. But if you donât mind standing and gettin' a bit squashed, itâs a laugh.
Staff are a good bunch, too â quick on the drinks and always up for a chat. All in all, if youâre out in Shoreditch and want a lively, fun night, Simmons is a top spot. Just donât expect it to be...
