Simply Bread — Restaurant in London

Literally just had the weirdest and whackiest experience of my life here after two years in London?? The woman serving me on a Saturday afternoon seemed completely clueless and careless it was so strange!! I asked for a vegan blt salad box and she just started throwing it together with her bare hands - no gloves or spoon / fork / tongs nothing ??? Then when I asked she said yeah I washed my hands so ok fine I guess lol?? So the salad was literally just three ingredients (lettuce tomato and vegan blt) which makes sense since that’s what would’ve been in the sandwich and she was nice enough to add some courgettes and jalapeños for no extra…but then she also gave no dressing or salt or pepper which I thought was strange for a salad box?? But again - I guess it wouldn’t have come on the sandwich so I tried not to overthink it…so I asked for a bit of mustard on the side and the had no dressing containers (she gave to me in a lil espresso paper cup lol) and THEN NO CUTLERY so I had to awkwardly ask the cafe next door for a fork???

What is going on here lmaooo I was expecting a bit better because of the higher rating but I didn’t even wanna eat my salad anymore after I watched her grab it together with her bare hands I don’t even make my salad like that at home unless I’m just washing...

Place was clean. Sandwich was good and tasty.

The 3 stars is because I was waiting along with another dude. I was in line first but one older woman came out of the kitchen and asked him if he’s being helped then proceed to make his sandwich first instead of me. Even after I raised my hand and told her I was here first she still ignored me.

The other younger lady was very nice though. She mouthed to me “sorry”.

The service is totally lacking here. Ordered a coffee and 2 sandwiches and the guy at the counter said "isn't it too late for a coffee?" What the hell is this response? I'm coming to your shop to purchase a product and you are judging me about it? If you are busy just say so, but don't come at me with little comments like that.
