PLEASE READ: Literally just left this store SHOCKED of the service I just received. I approached the counter where 2 guys were chatting about their shifts hours, one of them was unhappy to do small hours over more days and went on and on on a rant about the shift patterns. I asked for an specific medication. He said āI never heard of itā shake his shoulders and carried on talking to his colleague in front of me. I pointed to the box and said āis that box thereā. He annoyed looked at me and said āspeak to the pharmacistā and pointed at a lady (name tag Sumaya). I asked ā can I have a box of xxx pleaseā and she said āI donāt know what it is, never heardā I pointed again at that box that is right behind her. She then point me back to the guys and said āspeak to themā. I this point I feel like they are treating me like garbage. I went to back to the guys and said that the lady sent me back to them. They look at me like I am a huge bother ad I am interrupting their conversation. And said ā lady I donāt know what is the name of the product you mentioned and kept shaking his head at meā. I start saying ā can anyone help me here? Anyone care to actually be helpful?ā The guys keep avoiding eye contact and keep saying ā I donāt know what is the medication, I have no idea!!!ā āNever heard, canāt help you, I donāt knowā Letās remember : The box if just there!!! And I keep pointing at it! At this point another lady came from the pharmacist corner. Spoke to sumaya and showed her how to scan the product THAT WAS JUST BEHIND THEM ALL the whole time and I kept pointing at it. NOBODY cared to apologise, they treated me like I was asking for the bloody moon. I left almost in tears as they made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. @boots YOU HAVE TO DO something here. They were beyond rude, beyond unprofessional. HONESTLY...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've witnessed firsthand some clients treating the staff here without the sympathy or empathy they deserve, yet it's the unwavering kindness and professionalism of the Boots pharmacy team that truly stands out. Despite facing undue criticism, they consistently treat everyone with respect and go above and beyond to assist with any issue, as was my experience.
Particularly commendable are Shayma and Babita, whose efforts have been nothing short of extraordinary. Shayma, for instance, found solutions for my out-of-stock ADHD medication and was a beacon of support during a chest pain scare. Babita's cheerful demeanor has made every visit a pleasant one. Even when I faced difficulties due to a switch to pharmacy2u, Shayma was quick to resolve my problems efficiently.
The entire staff deserves recognition for their exceptional service. Thanks to their dedication, my health management has been seamless. This Boots pharmacy, especially Shayma, has provided me with the utmost care and attention. I cannot recommend them highly enough for anyone seeking a pharmacy that truly cares about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI often stay at a hotel nearby and the location is very handy. I was wondering over last few visits why, first there were only empty boxes for a lot of the make up and skin care products, and you had to take these to the cashier (found out this was for security - against theft) and latterly not even boxes are there.
I asked the sales assistant and she told me. Apparently because the display didn't look good, they went back to putting the actual product on display. These are regularly stolen and the staff can't do anything - not allowed to touch them. Too late by the time police arrive - and maybe they don't even bother calling them. This is such a shame. The larger branch in Kensington High St doesn't seem to have this problem - fully stocked shelves.
The Gloucester Road Stn branch is to some extent tucked away and thieves (a regular gang as far as I understood) can keep getting away with this - what is our society coming to?
The poor star rating does not reflect the shop per se - but for some products they are almost permanently out of stock because of the reasons...
