Extremely unhappy with this place, I asked for an iced matcha latte, the price on display is £3.20 but I was charged £4.10. They added cinnamon to the matcha latte which is a first for me in all my time of drinking matcha latte and as a result I did not think of disclosing my intolerance to it. When reported to the staff they had a really poor attitude and did not providenrefund or offer something else. I don't recommend this place at all.
P.S. calling a client of Karen and accusing her of being rude just because she didn't feel the service was good shows how unprofessional they are. I will also add that there was no menu available, nor was the difference in price displayed. And yes it is the customer's responsibility to notifiy the business of their allergies, that being said, cinnamon is the last ingredient one would expect on a matcha latte, hence, like I mentioned before, I did not think of mentioning it. Had there been a menu with the least of ingredients, I...
Read moreI ordered a To Good To Go from here for £2. When I came in to collect my order there was an issue with my app. It appeared like my booking had been lost or cancelled.
I showed my app to the clerk who was dismissive. I showed the clerk my email confirmation, as well as a PayPal receipt that showed the payment having gone through.
The clerk asked me if I was ‘a time waster’ and a ‘liar’. I continued to show my receipt, email and profile in the app which all showed that I had placed the order and paid at 15:13.
He continued to be incredibly rude and raised his voice at me and called me a liar.
Ultimately I understand that Strelitzia does not own TGTG and that the app can had some issues. However, I’ve never had an issue like this before. It was incredibly bad service. I ended up £2 out of pocket and would not recommend this shop or using them on any...
Read moreEverything is delicious in Strelitzia (and I know, I have tried it all)! Whether you fancy a sandwich, bagel, salad or quiche, a sweet treat (or two!) or a hot drink, you won’t be disappointed. The smoothies are glorious, the sausage rolls gianormous, and the cannelés a personal favourite. And I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a matcha latte in the area.
Staff are always lovely, and fridges/shelves stocked up with both convenient and delightful things.
I usually take away but there are seats indoors and outdoors if you fancy, with a possibility to do a bit of work on weekdays only (let’s be mindful of others).
All in all a lovely spot. Do yourselves a favour AND support a local business - take a trip...
