T4 Liverpool Street — Restaurant in London

I ordered two bubbleteas through their online service and quickly received my drink, eventhough it was quite busy around 5:30pm on a Friday. Honestly, the workers there were super efficient. I just signalled them that I ordered online , so they'd know I'm here and they responded immediately. Everyone else ordering inside the store also seemed to receive their orders quickly, one after the other. Also, the lady handing out the drinks noticed I'm pregnant and made sure to double check I was okay with the tea and its toppings, which I thought was really helpful and just genuinely nice. Being the clumsy pregnant lady I am, I dropped one of my teas as I left the store, went back in to reorder and they noticed immediately as I lined up, took my half empty cup and remade my drink! Worst customer service ever. Condescending and rude young girl asking if I know that taro tea is the "purple" one when I asked if I could order it with oolong tea. Other bubble tea shops allow you to mix the taro powder with tea so all you had to say was you can't do it due to store policy etc. Please train your staff to at least be polite.

The issue isn't whether or not you could fulfil the request. The issue is the rudeness of your staff when I enquired politely - it was a simple enquiry that did not deserve bad attitude in return. It was a wholly unpleasant interaction.

Further, it isn't like mixing proteins in a burger. If your drinks are premade to a particular recipe, just needed to say so without the attitude. Even the reply on here is rude which is reflective of the general...

The first boba tea store I've come across where you've to pay extra for real milk in a "milk tea". Not sure how this place gets such a high rating because neither the taste of the drink nor the staff behavior was nice. One of the staff was vacuuming the store when we arrived and I had to scream over the sound of her vacuum to talk to her - she didn't even bother to turn it off for a second to listen respond to us. The milk tea tasted like water and bubbles were hard and chewy. When we mentioned to the staff that both our drinks tasted really bad, they didn't even offer to fix it for us.
