Gorgeous spanish tapas spot in Soho! Party of three Spaniards came to Soho after hearing great things about it. The service is superb, half of the waiters speak Spanish which is a nice touch, and they’re all incredibly kind, accommodating and helpful, which recommendations and advice, and they were all very patient as we decided our food. The Soho branch is gorgeous, with Spanish delicacies like ham and olive oil decorating the entire place, and it is very warmly lit. We ordered one tortilla de patata, which while tasty was served cold, not even at room temperature; a basket of bread which was also cold (they could definitely warm both of those dishes up). We also ordered two servings of croquetas de jamón, which were flawless; and a serving of pimientos de Padrón, huevos rotos con pisto (they were delicious and all of the roasted vegetables were delicious) and the highlight of the evening: Pulpo con mojo rojo, bone marrow and baby potatoes, which was beyond delicious, it’s a must have when visiting. The portions were not huge so in order to share and try a bit of everything the bill will not be cheap, which takes away from the traditional tapas culture in Spain. For desserts, we ordered a crema Catalana, which was superb, and a tarta de Santiago, which was simply not a tarta de Santiago. Despite claims of having a modern twist, that serving was simply not even close to the traditional Galician dessert, and one of the guests is Galician and was distraught at that dessert. Overall,...
Read moreVisiting Tapas Brindisa Soho was an absolute delight! I stopped by for a sangria and ended up having one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting—a perfect blend of vibrant energy and relaxed charm that you’d expect from a top-notch tapas bar.
The service was outstanding. It’s rare these days to find a place where the staff strike the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving you space to enjoy your time, but the team at Brindisa nailed it. They were welcoming without being overbearing and made me feel like a truly valued guest. It’s been a while since I’ve experienced such genuine hospitality, where the attention you’re given feels thoughtful and never rushed or intrusive.
Now, the sangria—absolutely exquisite! It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and brimming with flavor, just as you’d hope for in a place that prides itself on authentic Spanish fare. Every sip was like a mini-vacation to Spain. While I only went for the sangria this time, I couldn’t help but admire the dishes being served around me. The presentation was beautiful, and the aromas were tantalizing, leaving me eager to return for a full tapas feast.
Whether you’re looking for a quick drink or a full dining experience, Tapas Brindisa Soho is a gem. The combination of delicious offerings, impeccable service, and a lively yet cozy atmosphere makes it a spot I’d recommend wholeheartedly. I’ll...
Read moreMedium food and a lot of noise for high price. We booked a table for 6pm, we got seated immediately, but our seats were next to the place where the waiters put down the collected dishes. It's not in a different room, just next to the customers. Imagine 10 plates hitting each other in every 10-30 seconds, it totally ruined our experience. Once I told the waiter that it's very loud, they started putting down the dishes more gently, then about 2 minutes later it was the same again. We asked for sangria, it was okay but we felt a bit pricey, half of it was ice. The octopus was really good, the smoked paprika matched with it really well. The Catalan coca bread was a joke, it's basically some seeded loaf from Sainsbury's. The other bread with tomato (no picture) was better. The meat platter and the cheese platter was quite similar, imagine you went to the grocery store and bought a medium priced meat and cheese selection. Half of them barely had any taste. The cheesecake was good, at least we finished our dinner with something tasty. For the whole dinner we paid around 100 pounds (ofc 12.5% service fee was included). This quality and respect for the customer would be okay in a cheap bodega in Spain, but not in Soho for this price tag. At least not for me. If you can sit outside and you luckily pick the tasty dishes then it might be a good experience for you, but you can get...
