We went there for my son and daughter's birthdays ππ π₯³ π 12 and 13 September πππ My daughter planned the night out and booked the Fatt Pundit. It was such an amazing experience. We ordered lots of food to share so we could try everything and to say it was delicious and service was awesome π π. Staff were non stop pouring the water to the our glasses. Has been long time we had service like this. The service from Clayton was outstanding - very professional, friendly and attentive. He took great care of us. Clayton made sure that we have got everything and we are happy π if I could would give 10 starsπ to Clayton and his staff. Crackling spinach was delicious π I love spinach but never had Crackling spinach before. Even my daughter ate and enjoyed. She doesn't like spinach. We loved everything except the Burnt Ginger Rice. We thought that we will get rice with strong ginger flavour. Rice was dry and few ginger pieces on top the rice. We were disappointed with the rice.π I Don't usually eat desert but we had 2 brownies with the ice-cream on top for birthday children π€© That was awesome. We will be definitely going back to try other dishes but definitely we will order crackling spinach π Thank you all fir delicious food and fantastic service. Ps: your birthday cards made us very happy π we were not expecting that.

Went for dinner, did make a reservation (recommend), service was great, we were seated promptly. The restaurant is small but definitely has a warm, friendly atmosphere. Located near Picadilly circus. We ordered vegetarian and there were plenty of delicious options. Overall, a great restaurant for indo-chinese cuisine. Also, our servers Maisha and Harshil both get a shoutout for being amazing!! The food came out so quick after ordering, and we did go for a birthday and they made it so special, with a birthday card. Popcorn Cauliflower: Looks bland but is probably my favorite thing out of the three! Highly recommend this one, this is so well seasoned, has amazing flavor and is so crispy. Makes for an amazing appetizer. Hakka noodles (veg): A little bland but good flavor. Did get some extra soy sauce on the side which helped. Also, combined it with the chilli paneer which really elevated the dish. Paneer chilli, lettuce wraps: Not enough lettuce for the filling, but we used the paneer with the noodles and this tasted amazing! Great flavors, perfectly spiced. Brownie, gelato dessert: Comes with chocolate sauce that they pour in front of you, it's sizzling. The cold gelato and the hot brownie with the sauce go together so well! Very good dessert, delectable and chocolaty. Highly recommend!

Came here for a post theatre meal with a family of 5. As soon as we arrived we noticed that for the 5 of us they had allocated two small tables which are usually meant for two people. So two tables would seat 4 with the fifth having to sit on an end making it quite cramped. When raising this with the staff their default policy is to seat odd numbers on a sub optimal amount of tables because they are a 'small restaurant' so beware of that when booking. We raised the matter and the restaurant couldn't give us the extra table we needed to seat the 5 of us, so we ended up eating in a very cramped manor. This could be a huge issue when ordering small plates style as there may not be enough table space which we definitely experienced. Just to reiterate, this place is *cramped* my dad who was sitting next to me - his chair was constantly pressed against him due to the foot traffic passing through the narrow gap behind him. The staff only provided excuses and they didn't do anything to make the situation better. The only reason I'm being generous with three stars is because the food was actually pretty good. It arrived promptly and for the most part tasted exquisite. The lamb chops especially, some of the best I've had! So that's a dish I'd recommend. A dish I wouldn't recommend however is the chicken manchurian, just tasted like salted soy sauced chicken with some vegetables, nothing special. Everything else we ordered, cracked spinach, cauliflower, chicken lollipop, crab and various others were great. It is worth noting that this is Indo-Chinese cuisine and thus none of the dishes are fully Indian or fully chinese, they are a hybrid which most of the time works! The service was also good in that they were constantly filling up our water glasses and there was always someone to hail. Generally, the food was excellent but monetisation practises to maximise guest numbers in an already cramped environment is not on and needs to change. To get around this, my recommendation is come here as a two at most! I'd definitely give this place a go if you want a unique take on Indo-Chinese cuisine.

The first fatal mistake I made in regards to this London hotspot was listening to a white man with a PR invite waxing lyrical about how amazing the food was here. As someone of Indian origin who has lived and breathed Indian cuisine (thanks to having a chef as a father and growing up in the Indian restaurant circle in Melbourne) I'm here to set the record straight (and put myself permanently on the blacklist of all London PRs - like I wasn't already for telling the truth π). The lamb chops were what I came for, let's be honest. I admired the cut and juiciness of them, however for 19 quid (almost $40AUD), give me at least three? Don't be afraid to throw some lemon on there and amp up the masala. The accompanying mint sauce was but 1/4 filled in the container, not nearly enough to compliment the meat. The spinach was great, the paneer came off as rubbery and again, timid. I tasted each dish with the sinking feeling that this is a restaurant that uses flavour tentatively, in a bid to cater to an exclusively white audience. Almost 80 years past the post-Colonial era, I say grab life (and your dishes) by the balls and cook authentically - people will adjust. The wine bottle should have been presented before pouring and given the opportunity to taste and I had to explain more than once to the waitress that I wanted the food to come all at once - it's not up to the kitchen to decide when it wants to bestow each dish upon a paying customer and I'm not about to eat spinach by itself π Ultimately I want our people to excel in the culinary space and unfortunately for me, this fell short. I do hope the restaurant takes this feedback for what it is - free and useful, from somebody in the know. ππ½ Ps. I originally posted this on IG, the restaurant didn't even bother to read the review and just liked my story goodbye - I rest my case ππππ

Went to the Soho branch and the staff are extremely rude, especially one of the female waiters. We ordered a few dishes to share in a small group of 3, and were seated on a very cramped table in the basement which was surrounded by rubbish and barely big enough to fit the plates. Portion sizes are quite small and very average in quality and not worth the price. I asked the waitress for a menu and she said she would bring one but never came back. They add 12.5% service charge for barely any service when they cannot even bring a menu to the table, but annoyingly usher to take plates away whilst still eating. I later asked for an additional takeaway order to take home and was told it would take 30minutes by a waitress. I asked if this could be done quicker and the waitress said it may take 15 minutes, but without much confidence, so I asked if they can be sure it will be done in that time before i order and pay, as i was unable to wait longer and didnt want a flase promise. However I was rudely told I am wasting her time.. i have never experienced such rudeness at a restaurant before and this was the same waitress who couldn't even bring me a menu earlier. So I did not order further and will not be returning again due to the lack of manners and service of staff at this restaurant. I can get over this being a small average overpriced london restaurant but it is unacceptable the way their staff have no respect for customers and they really need some training on how to treat customers. Do not recommend.
