To the front of the shop there is a takeway service and next door is the Resturant area. Layout reminds me of African eat outs nice and clean and well set out. Not fussy simple layout. Washing your hands before and after meal is no problem there's a designated area. Our meals was served quiet quickly and nicely presented. There was a few things negatives for me the jolfe rice was not as spicy as i expected the plantain was cold. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

I can't fault this restaurant. I enjoyed my vegetable soup with assorted meat and poundo. I am grateful to my friend for taking me to this lovely place. I look forward to visiting in the near future so that I can try other meals on the menu. I totally forgot to take a picture of my food before I began but I kinda have something to share of the left over soup as the soup was a lot. I got a take away plate and packaged mine and my friends' left over soups.

Average African restaurant that sells meals that appeal to the west African crowd (particularly naija). The order I made wasn’t complete till I pointed it out to them but I put it down to the number of orders they have to take(for now). Their jollof was particularly tasty though I had the seafood okra (more of fish okra going by the types of seafood in it. Overall, I can visit again if in the area

Tasty African Food is truly a nice place to eat, especially if you love authentic Nigerian and West African cuisine. From light snacks to full, assorted dishes, they have a wide range of delicious options that capture the real taste of home. Whether you’re craving jollof rice, egusi soup, pounded yam, suya, or meat pies, you’ll likely find something that satisfies both your hunger and your nostalgia.

The meals are well-prepared, flavorful, and served in good portions. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, and the seasoning gives that perfect balance of traditional taste and modern presentation. If you’ve missed the rich, spicy aroma of African cooking, this is the place to visit.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting — Afrobeat and highlife music playing softly in the background create that lively, cultural vibe that instantly lifts your mood. The décor is simple yet reflects the African spirit, making it feel homely and relaxed.

The staff members are polite, friendly, and attentive. Service is generally quick, and they’re always willing to recommend dishes if you’re unsure what to order. Whether you’re dining in or taking away, you’ll be treated with courtesy.

Overall, Tasty African Food lives up to its name. It’s a spot where you can enjoy authentic Nigerian and West African meals in a clean, cheerful, and welcoming setting. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try — once you do, you’ll surely want to come...

Generally filled up with rude service assistants who probably have never mingled with whites before. Cos u can tell from their attitude that the only place they've ever known is there. No talking manners. No smiles no nothing. Even when they talk to u they way they do it, u wl start thinking if u had any problem with them before. Having said this, the guys seem to be better, generally. I think the females are the worst, omg!! Talk about attitude! They've got it and they know how to use it. They need to go and try working in a non Nigerian owned place to gain some ethics of customer service. Now, about the food, it's ok. All the foods are good. I find the take away section is more...

The food was terrible. My friend ordered jollof rice and fish stew, and I just had the fish stew, and both the rice and fish looked and tasted defrosted enough fresh and wet and soggy. It was bad. Oh yeah, the service, the lady was moving like she didn't want to serve us , to welcoming not smile short answers, we asked her to a menu she there no menu 🤯. The tables weren't cleaned from the last customer, so we asked her nicely if she could help us with our table she left the counter, cleaned all the other tables that were empty, and cleaned our last. So we sat on the table she cleaned the first order drinks, and she brought the bottle and said...
