I recently visited Taverna In The Park in London, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! Nestled in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the setting is relaxed and perfect for grabbing a bite after a walk.
I ordered the halloumi souvlaki wrap, and it was packed with flavor—perfectly grilled halloumi with a slight crisp on the outside, fresh salad, and a deliciously creamy sauce, all wrapped in warm pita. The skin-on fries were crispy and well-seasoned, making them the perfect side.
The staff was friendly, and service was quick despite a steady stream of customers. The homemade lemonade was also a highlight—refreshing and not too sweet.

Service was incredibly slow and inefficient- no sense of urgency among the two guys working that day. They also messed up the order of other customers in front of us, and completely forgot about one of them, which meant our order took longer. They also forgot to give a few people their receipt with the order number on it, not that it mattered since they were calling out the wrong numbers or no number at all. Food was decent but not...
