A great local cafe that offer proper , authentic English breakfast. We have been there seven years ago and when we went there this morning we really enjoyed our breakfast. The service was as great as before, I ordered some toast with my breakfast but forgot to mention not to have any butter on them. when I asked them to see if they cam change it , this lovely lady brought some extra toast immediately which was very nice ( I know some other cafes in the area would probably charge !) . The food is just what I want from a café: yes, fry-ups but also kippers, pies, roasts, jackets. It's got the same feel & care as food cooked at home. There are a dozen more chichi eateries just along Muswell Hill Broadway; I like some of them. But I find myself coming back to the unpretentious Broadway, with its big, cheerful windows.
