The Catch of Chiswick: Fish N' Chips — Restaurant in London

I'm not denying this restaurant appears to sell good food but I felt compelled to write a negative review after just witnessing some disgusting treatment of the chef from the owner. In the few minutes I was in there the owner felt it was entirely appropriate to shout across the restaurant to the chef where he called him a thief, untrustworthy, useless and that he was a waste of space.

Here's a bit of free advice for the owner: Without your staff, your business would not exist. Perhaps you should learn some manners? And if you really dislike an employee so much, I suggest it would be better to discipline him in a professional way, and if necessary, terminate his employment. I know of just 2 chippys in Chiswick, the other being awful now, so have been riding up to Acton for acceptable scoff, though they often run out of fish by 7:00pm. Went to the Catch when it first opened 5-6 years ago and never went back as so expensive and tiny fish. Out of desperation tried again tonight and had to get straight on this to praise them (I'm quick to complain too). Large cod £6-20 which seems fine these days. They cooked my chips extra brown on request, though will ask for more cooking next time, at least they tried. Gherkins are massive, ketchup is Heinz and in large effective bulbs that hit the chips not your palms. They were friendly and helpful enough and take visa unlike their rubbish competitors. Total chaos if you order online. Incredibly they have a menu on Deliveroo which they cant deliver and does not match what they can actually make or order. They have online 5 different types of fishcake but in fact only make it in one way. So if you order two different fishcakes they call deliveroo to get a message across to you that they only make it one way. Unnecessary fuss. But worse, they have a list of fish on Deliveroo under the "grilled fish" section but they dont grill most of them. Second attempt to order 2 grilled fish resulted in more phone calls via a call centre in Manila telling me they couldnt make the order as they dont grill goujons ... which are on the online menu. Phoning them is chaotic and the online menu...
