The Garden Café — Restaurant in London

Popped in for a quick lunch.

I am really sorry to say it took 25 minutes for our two toasted sandwiches to arrive. Nothing special when they arrived. The extra pickled onions were fine. The extra crispy bacon bits … not crispy at all.

Coffee good.

I also have to say I think the attitude from one of the staff was overly gushing and just too much. Particularly when you then have to wait 25 minutes for your food.

There was an apology from a staff member who did not take the order. I believe our order fell on the floor and was missed by the chef?

I do not want to go again. Shame really as on previous visits my wife...

Anthony and his super-lovely wife Anas are two of my favourite human beings on the planet. A fantastic café in a charming setting! The strawberry lemon drizzled cake is incredibly moist and flavorful, and the coffee is excellent. The staff is warm and welcoming, making the experience even better....
