A Hidden Gem with Heart and Flavor

We stumbled upon this cozy Turkish cafe and left completely impressed. The mixed kebab was the star of the show—juicy, perfectly grilled meats served with salad and warm bread. Each bite had that authentic smoky flavor that’s hard to beat. We ordered a side of cacık, and it was refreshingly creamy with just the right touch of garlic and mint, perfect for dipping. The fresh salad added a crisp balance to the hearty meal.

What made it extra special was the warmth of the owner, Başak. She greeted us like old friends and made sure everything was just right. Her energy fills the place—it’s not just a restaurant, it feels like her home.

We stayed for dessert and had their homemade baklava with Turkish tea. Sweet, flaky, and rich—the perfect ending to an amazing meal. The café itself is charming and relaxed, ideal for a lazy afternoon or casual dinner.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for not...

Whether it’s breakfast or dinner, this place never disappoints. The food is always tasty, fresh and delicious. They serve generous portions and go above and beyond with starters and tasty sweet treats. Hands down my 2024 top place to eat.

Update 2025- I usually love this place (as you see from start of review), I regularly eat in and order. However, today I made an order via an app, only for the delivery time to keep being extended. I have responsibilities, which means I need to go out. I called and messaged the Mobile as theres no landline anymore and have been ignored. It’s ridiculous. I don’t know what happens to this place after a certain time of day but I would suggest ordering before 2pm if you want a good service. After then it all goes down hill. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! Then after 2 hours they lie and say the order was delivered when it...

I’m very shocked at the service I got from this restaurant not only did my food not arrive. They told me I was lying. Refused to give me my money . & Was racist. People of colour please don’t return to this cafe. I was called a N**R via a phone call conversation. Which literally completely blew me of guard. The police are involved and I’ll be getting updated when a arrest happens

Try calling their restaurant for 2 days and they ignored me. Great work guys keep it up

I look forward to your reply stating that you done nothing wrong and I’m just a customer that’s not satisfied

This is the only review I have ever wrote in my life that’s how disgusted I am

The staff are beyond disrespectfull especially the larger woman...

The place is nice and relatively clean. Atmosphere and decor is cozy. There is an entire wall that is a book shelf filled with books. Most of these are in Turkish though. A lot of seating space including a small garden. Food and service were pretty good. Although some of the staff have no idea of what is going on. During busy times orders can be delayed. Had breakfast there, which was quite good. Ordered a famous Turkish lentil soup that is served with a lemon wedge. Mine came without one, so I thought - OK, probably not here. But then saw the same soup being served to another table with the lemon. Also it was not as good/tasty as the čorba (soup) in Turkey. The plate that was under the soup plate had dried soap/washing liquid on it.

Best vegetarian and vegan food we ever ate. They gave us complimentary freshly made hummus and bread, Baklava, very delicious. We have ordered Cacik, fresh juices, nutty salary, vegan vege bagel, vegetarian spaghetti. All were freshly made and very tasty. We loved the service and food both!! Their front entrance is not very attractive but sit in their back area with small garden. It’s beautiful. If you are going to do “The date skywalk” it’s just 15 mins walk or 4 mins by bus. And of you are book lover, they have full wall of books to read. Highly recommend it!!!❤️❤️

A really nice Turkish place with a nice vibe. The food is quite Nice, they serve beer and cider. Have a bar which quite cool and the decor is nice. It's around 8-10 for a main which is a good size and service was good. We got some free bread and hummus at the start and left feeling quite full. Open until late as well we went for dinner around 10pm. Good.for.medium sized groups too. We went with 8 and the speed was good. Would definitely visit again
