Lovely pub and super friendly staff, which surprisingly wasn't perfectly quite during the day. I stumbled upon this place by chance as I needed somewhere to work and charge my Laptop and I was really glad I did. Will be back there for sure. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Just been here again and the place hasn't changed much, the staff are super friendly, happy for me to plug in my laptop and do a spot of hotdesking, and the beer is pretty good too not to mention more towards the average/lower price scale for London and would you Adam & Eve (believe) it their Wednesday special is a Flat Iron steak, skin on fries and a glass of Malbec for Ā£15 ... OMG I can't believe I just discovered this after ordering a pint of Landlord, d'oh! Really tempted to give this place 5ā˜…. Perhaps I will after I get a chance to try the new chef's special ... watch this space.

Love the roof terrace. Tight space but cosy. Inside is comfortable and spacious. Food is excellent. You do have to pay more for it. My friend said their burger is legendary in taste, enjoyment and price. Drinks are also on the upper scale with a well-curated selection. I had the chicken wings and for a starter dish, 7 wing segments is more than I could finish by myself. When you pay, the card machine will request for a tip but they already added the service charge anyway. So if you do give them a tip, that's on top of the service charge. A bit cheeky methinks. Anyway, the service was really good. Food came fairly quickly. The wings were really good and really spicy. My friends sausage roll was a sad small piece but he shoved it down his throat in no time because he said it was really good. I didn't even get the chance to take a photo.

Super mediocre, clearly an unmanaged money pump. Food was very bland. The service staff, however, were all really lovely, doing their best. When we first arrived, nobody was at the bar for take orders for nearly 10 minutes. When someone arrived and saw, she said "I'm so, so sorry", jumped on her phone and called someone to get more staff in. Again, all the staff were lovely. All quite young. Went into the bathroom to discover a broken urinal. Rather than closing that urinal, they just put a Pimm's jug to catch any errant urine. Lovely place, but the good vibes are because of the staff and completely despite the management and / or ownership. To the owners: do better. You have great staff.

I live quite far away from The Grafton, but decided to pay a visit because of the famous Lucky Chip kitchen. Being a repeat customer at East London's Sebright Arms for the amazing Lucky Chip burgers, I wanted to see how they performed on their fried chicken...

First impressions were that The Grafton has a lovely atmosphere and friendly punters. There's a massive beer selection and lots of space to sit down. Settling in, me and two friends ordered a bucket meal. It came in dribs and drabs, with the chicken arriving about 10 minutes before the rest. We had to ask three times for the "pint" of gravy (actually about 1/3 of a pint). Despite the chicken looking like it had been fed growth hormones for its entire life, the first few bites were fantastic. However, after two wings it became very apparent that there was more salt in each one than the dead sea. 10 hours later I am still drinking water to replenish myself! I feel tired, thirsty and ill after my meal (this is probably my fault for eating too much).

In summary I'd say this is a good hit of junk food, but in no way does it live up to the reputation of Lucky Chip burgers. Lots more work needs to be done to make the chicken stand out compared to KFC, and the price needs to...

Dear team,

I’m writing this review for my birthday booking held on Saturday 21st January at The Grafton Kentish Town.

First of all I’d like to thank Maria and all the staff for the amazing service received on the day, I forgot the barista’s name in charge what a polite person very committed and helpful.

Starting with the booking process which was smooth and super clear since the beginning on restrictions and options available. I’ve opted to do a pre booking for food and few drinks, everything was properly delivered, the set up of tables and sofas as per agreed, indeed checking up the venue space gave me a good idea for decoration and since it was my 30th birthday I loved the option to keep seats for the guests.

In therms of food everything, including vegan options were absolutely delicious, food tasted fresh and well prepared thank you for the kitchen staff!

It was a success and all my guests loved the place surely some will book for a Sunday roast or a drink.

Thank you again! Wish you all a lovely week...

Superb food, l shall also be writing a review on TripAdvisor ... Because the food in The Grafton is worthy of 10 minutes of my time. We were there on Tuesday, to meet with family members who were visiting from Australia. The food which we had, was as close to 'Fine-dining' as you can get, without creeping into very expensive territory. There weren't any cask beers on unfortunately, but we were there for the food and a good chat, and The Grafton proved to be the perfect venue. Really wonderful food. The Scotch egg is the best l have had. I want the recipe!! And for the homemade Piccalilli too šŸ˜‚ My Salmon 'mains', was terrific and my wife's Risotto was absolutely brilliant (I pinched a bit) Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food that we had. Get in quickly before the word gets out. This place is currently bookable but imagine that it will become very busy, once people find out about it.

My thanks to everyone concerned, but my very special thanks to your chef... Absolutely...
