The Lunch Box — Restaurant in London

I was in Hammersmith and looking for a fresh cut sandwich. With a name like "The Lunch Box", this place seemed worth a try.

I walked in and was browsing the extensive menu of sandwiches and jacket potatoes when the woman behind the counter asked what I wanted. I said I was still deciding and she appeared annoyed and stared at me until I decided.

I asked for a plain chicken and salad with mayo on a large roll, but was then asked what kind of chicken as she pointed to various bowls of chicken/mayonnaise mix and then told they didn't have any large rolls left. I said I'd take any roll they had, along with the closest thing to plain chicken.

I handed over £4 for bland chicken mayo and salad on a little roll in a takeaway paper bag. Surprisingly it was served on a paper plate inside the bag, but that won't be enough to make me go...

Absolutely worst customer service ever . We ordered 4 items on the just est app . They delivered one dish ! £34 for a single dish. The delivery guy refused to help told us to take it up with the restaurant . Justeat take 5 to 10 days for a refund not good enough. The place was shut when we called. Obviously last order the shoveled what was left and threw it out to us while they stole our money . Thieves and rouges will never use this place and would recommend you...

It's a nice place to get some breakfast or lunch. I had such a craving for some good homemade cake, and luckily, they made their own here! The lemon drizzle cake was exactly what I wanted.
