The Old Kings Head is a cozy and welcoming pub located just a block away from the tube station. We stumbled upon it during peak hours when the underground was packed, and we're glad we did. The atmosphere is friendly, and the staff is accommodating, making it a great place to unwind after a long day.
We enjoyed a couple of pints of some fantastic local brews, and we were impressed with the selection. The beers were well-maintained and had a great taste, making for a perfect evening of drinks. The prices were also very reasonable, and we appreciated the value for money.

In conclusion, The Old Kings Head is a great pub that provides a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The local brews are fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. Despite the slight mice problem, the staff seemed to be taking care of it, and it did not detract from our overall experience. If you're in the area, it's definitely...
Read moreIf you’re after a proper London pub that still feels authentic — no gimmicks, no inflated prices, no tourist gloss — The Old King’s Head is the one. The wood-panelled walls, the friendly banter, the hum of conversation — it all feels like London as it used to be. You’ll find everyone here: city workers unwinding after hours, regulars who’ve been coming for decades, and curious newcomers who just stumbled across it.
If you’re visiting during Happy Hour, expect a lively buzz — the kind that makes you want to stay for “just one more.” And even outside those hours, the pub’s welcoming atmosphere...
