The Speakeasy Pub in Dalston: A Football Fan's Paradise

The Speakeasy Pub in Dalston isn't just a place to grab a pint—it's a sanctuary for football lovers and, without a doubt, my favourite pub in London! From the moment you step through the door, you’re welcomed by an atmosphere that perfectly blends the excitement of a live match with the cozy charm of a classic British pub.

The ambiance is electric on game days, the screens are strategically placed so you won't miss a second of the action, no matter where you sit. The cheers, chants, and camaraderie among the fans create an experience that’s second to none. It's like being in a stadium, but with the added comfort of a cold beer in hand.

The staff at Speakeasy are top-notch. They’re friendly, attentive, and just as passionate about the game as the patrons. They’ve mastered the art of making everyone feel like a regular, whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth.

But what truly sets Speakeasy apart is its dedication to creating the ultimate football viewing experience. The big screens are high-definition, the sound system is impeccable, and the atmosphere is unmatched. Whether it's the Premier League, Champions League, or international fixtures, Speakeasy turns every match into an unforgettable event.

If you're a football fan in London, missing out on Speakeasy is not an option. It’s more than just a pub; it’s a community where every goal is celebrated like a victory and every match feels like a final. Speakeasy Pub is, hands down, the best venue in the world to watch football. Come for the game, stay for the vibe, and you’ll quickly see why this gem in Dalston is my go-to spot.

Cheers to many more thrilling matches...

Where do I begin… some would define happiness as seeing the first smile of their newborn baby or walking down the aisle with their besotted. Me? There is nothing I cherish more than the warm embrace of the Speakeasy on the most miserable of winters nights. The sight of the hallowed turf incites pure unadulterated joy within me, with the knowledge that once again my evening is in the safest of hands and my happiness ensured.

Truthfully, the Speakeasy has absolutely everything we could ever want in a local, with as many screens as I can count, and fantastic food and drink with whatever your heart desires! The staff are the friendliest around, and genuinely make the place the delightful place that it is!

We had the absolute pleasure of watching the semis and final of the Euros here, and the atmosphere was of course second to none! Even when we had missed the booking time for the final they had kept some tables back for regulars to save the day! By far the best pub around for watching live football, and without a doubt our favourite pinting destination for...

The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a welcoming experience from the start. The pub is well-equipped with large screens strategically placed for optimal viewing, ensuring you won't miss a moment of the action, no matter where you're seated.

The atmosphere during Euro matches is electric, with fans from all over coming together to celebrate the beautiful game. The camaraderie among patrons adds to the overall enjoyment, making it a fantastic spot for both die-hard football fans and casual viewers alike.

In summary, the Speakeasy in Dalston is an exceptional place to watch the Euros. Be careful stepping foot in this establishment - you’ll never look at your local the same way ever again. The Speakeasy has it all. Ice cold beers (bargains galore), electric atmosphere, quality staff (including the best bouncers in LDN), banging grub and the ultimate set-up for consuming sport. Here’s a fun fact for you: The Speakeasy has the highest density of screens for watching sport out of any establishment in Northern Europe - and as a result - it has been dubbed a sports fan’s Valhalla in multiple publications. It certainly is mine. Thanks, Speakeasy - I love you. (photos attached of Speakeasy scenes)

100% will be visiting on a regular basis. Chips were incredible, drinks were great and the staff were fantastic - more on why below. The man on security was very friendly, chatty and accommodating whilst we waited to be seated. The waitress that seated us was really friendly and clearly had owned a dog before as she put our puppy at ease immediately. We were also served by an Irish waitress that could spark conversation out of thin air, and a blonde waitress that didn't let our glasses go empty for more than a minute or two. Overall we loved this place, the beer garden is huge and very aesthetically pleasing.

Ticked the 2 most common things one would look out for in a bar, which are good atmosphere and services. Greeted by a polite member of staff who then pointed us to a nice table and ensured someone came to take our order. The atmosphere was amazing. It had a sliding roof top, so you don't worry if the weather isn't too great. There are also heaters to keep you warm. A large screen showing popular sports. It was a good experience. Nice hangout spot for a group of friends 😉. Budget friendly. No reservations or tickets are needed.
