The Terrace — Restaurant in London

I recently visited The Terrace Cafe and, overall, the experience was a mixed one. I paid £16 for a meal and a drink, and initially, everything was great. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed it. However, I didn’t finish my sandwich, so I decided to take it home. There is a table with various items like tissues, sugar, and bags, which appeared to be available for customer use. There were no signs or labels indicating otherwise.

I used one of the bags, assuming it was meant for customers, but was soon approached by a staff member who informed me that the bags were for bread service only. I wasn’t aware of this as there were no clear labels, and the staff member’s approach felt unnecessarily confrontational. While I understand if the bags were meant for a specific use, the lack of signage and the manner in which this was communicated left me feeling uncomfortable.

That being said, the service at the beginning was good, and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, the negative interaction with the staff member dampened what could have been a great experience. I eventually paid for the bag and apologised, but I do feel this could have been handled more politely, especially given the lack of clear...

This unique boutique coffee is my personal place to relax when in the Walthamstow area. Always smiling, kind, and ready to help with the selection from the staff ❤️ . I can't describe the feeling of the cosy garden, with options for smoking and non-smoking tables. Cool and interesting setting inside with secluded tables for two. The unique taste of the whole range of food they offer ❤️ I'm on a diet :) However, I can't resist the temptation every time because I allow myself to accompany my regular super large cappuccino with a little sweet cake like the one in today's photo :) ❤️. It is difficult to stick to the diet with these uniquely delicious sweet dreams, even impossible :). I'm a normal person, today is Saturday and after the hard stressful week I deserve to relax in a cosy environment enjoying the delicious cake ❤️ :). I highly recommend and promise that once you try any of the coffee items, you will definitely come...

I am actually feeling really grateful and blessed to have this place very close to my house. Everything they do, I really enjoy eating! Everything is handmade, fresh and definitely very yummy. Cafe and all the food is clean. The ambient is very homelike. There is always many options for vegans as well as gluten free people. I like how considerate they are. So as a vegan I am comfortable having my breakfasts or afternoon teas here. The coffee here is always good, there are many plant-based milks, too. You can also find a variety of breads and chocolates. The owner is really friendly. He says you have to say “good morning” 3 times otherwise it doesn’t count! 😛So, yeah! I am a deeply-appreciative person for the works which is done with good intentions and professionalism. And I deeply appreciate The Terrace....
