Me and my friends visited the The Three Darlings and one word Wow! As soon as I walked up to the restaurant I was mesmerized, just the outside of the restaurant not even walked in! But as soon as I walked in the seeing the layout alone my mouth dropped! We had our coats taken at the door and escorted to our seats. We was offered bubbles as we were celebrating a new job and our beautiful friend being pregnant. They catered for all needs as they gave me and my friend champayne and my other friend a virgin cocktail as she was pregnant. The menu was explained clearly of how it works. Whilst waiting for our food we overlooked how the chief prepared and cooked the food which was honestly spectacular and very professional. Once the food came out my mouth dropped again of how it was presented on the plate. My mouth was watering looking at the ribs and flat bread, how the ribs fell off the bone as soon as my fork touched it. For the main had none other than the Wagyu Sausage Roll with mashed potatoe and gravy, before devouring this the thought of it and seeing it being cooked from fresh right in front of us. I had to pause after my first mouthful, best food I’ve ever tasted. Not forgetting the side of grilled hispi cabbage, smoked onion & black garlic. We didn’t stop there after seeing and hearing amazing reviews about the soft scoop with caviar I couldn’t refuse. This was my first time trying caviar and I will definitely be trying it again! One mouthful and the flavours bust in my mouth how the soft scoop and caviar flavours just go together. The experience was amazing, the chef Jake beautifully prepared our meal and made it an experience to remember. The staff were so helpful and catered for everyone’s needs and I loved the little touches of when you went to the restroom the waiter would come over and refold your serviette. I would definitely recommend The Three Darlings and definitely returning because I’ve heard their roast dinners...
Read moreWow, my fiancée and I ate here yesterday evening and this was one of, if not the best culinary experiences of the year so far. Not only was the food fantastic, but the service was friendly, fast and professional without the pretentiousness often experienced in similar restaurants.
The staff are clearly well learned in the menu and also passionate about the quality and sourcing of the food and drinks available on the menu.
Shout out to the sommelier who clearly had a passion for cocktails and had some very interesting stories and background knowledge about the drinks.
We had the lamb belly which was very tender and had a beautiful gravy, the octopus which was delightful and lastly the wagyu "sausage roll" which was by far the most exciting dish and the most interesting take on a sausage roll we've ever had. we were struggling at this point but couldn't resist getting a cheeky dessert to share between us and the beef dripping caramel soft serve ice cream was very strange but for some reason it just worked.
Overall we felt the restaurant was very good value for money and will certainly be coming back to try different dishes in the new future, hopefully the menu will change with seasonality - a hidden gem in London, highly recommend it to anyone open to new and awesome culinary...
Read moreTo start with , if you’re scared of cute little baby rats/mice , do not sit in the outdoor area. We saw 4 of them playing around. 4 of us at the table , we asked for 2 fresh juice and asked the bar tender if they’re freshly squeezed, and the answer was yes! My orange juice was straight from a cheap carton you get from wholesalers. When told the bar tender, he said “aw I’m so sorry we have 2 suppliers, one of them is not good, I will change it for you for the other good supplier” !!!! Then it was the pomegranate juice! Don’t even get me started on it, it didn’t even taste like any juice! Most of their veggie items were sold out apparently , so I only had small fries, and 2 steaks and a lamb chop for the other 3. The lamb chop smelt SO disgusting that I had to move away, my friends husband took a bite and spat it out straight away, my friend couldn’t stand the smell either. The guys had whiskey which was run down by ice, LOTS of it! At the end of our dinner, one of waiters asked us about the experience as they had only been open for a week or so, we gave them our feedback and he thanked us. The bill was about £400! Normally if the place is nice and enjoyable with good food, £400 is a reasonable bill, but for this restaurant claiming to have Michelin star chefs , was absolutely...
