I actually wanted to give 2.5 stars but sadly that’s not an available option. I have eaten here twice so I’ve tried the chicken and beef burritos. Portion size is generous & pricing is reasonable. The chicken burrito with the works, is good. One criticism is that the salsa is very watery and completely saturates the tortilla and pretty much drips like Katy price would at Tony Montana’s birthday party. The beef burrito tastes quite nice and I’m not even a beef fan but the low grade cuts of meat can leave a lot to be desired as I found out (picture to follow). The worst part of my experience which I believe can be the most important feature of dining out, was the rude and unfriendly staff. I don’t expect much when I go to a fast food chain, but if I’m smiling and asking what something is or if it’s possible to have some thing or I don’t understand your stupid jumbled up board straight away or quick enough, please do not getting uptight with me. I’m happy, I want to buy your food, and smile at you and maybe tell you how nice an experience I had afterwards. But it’s not like that here. The staff don’t smile or greet you, you ask a question and they eye roll you and huff at each other. There’s a real sense of unhappy employees who think you are a problem because you walked in. All in all, the foods okay but look at your beef carefully unless you’re cool with eating veins & tendon, I personally am not. Do not greet staff or ask questions. Oh and do not expect to be told about the points card until after you have paid. When I was told about it (after paying for 3 burritos), I asked if I could have the points added and was told it was too late. I didn’t complain, I just said merrily ‘okay, better luck next time, I suppose’ to which I got no response just a vacant stare followed...
Read moreWe just went and there was an Indian lady and a guy with dyed red hair. First there was not enough beans prepared and when I asked for an extra of protein they said no but would replace with veggie. When I was picking my veggies I was not given an extra to make of for the lack of beans and overall the attitude when I was picking extra veggies was horrible. I was met with dirty looks from both of the workers. I felt so disrespected by the way they treated me. The worst part was the man with the man with the red hair he was extremely rude and when I asked for student discount and showed my ID he said he would add it. When it was time to check out I realised the discount wasn’t added and he responded with such apathy that if I really wanted to I could get a refund and try again. I also asked for no bag and he proceeded to still put it in the bag. It was as if he was completely ignoring me while I was speaking. I left without a word but this is awful customer service and he should not be working there anymore. I will never step foot in that shop again. With that level of apathy I would not be surprised if the food is not being handled correctly and if other things are met with such a...
Read moreHands down my favourite burrito places in London. And my favourite Tortilla to go to out of them all. I order at least once or twice a week, Delivery and in store, and I have always received the best quality food!
They have the patience to put up with all of the changes and additions I ask for and always take the time to talk to me.
I love how the employees are allowed to be themselves, willing to talk in a very casual and engaging manner while still doing their jobs professionally!
I have met loads of lovely employees here, from being able to talk to people like Alecia, to being impressed by the support Gyniadah gave her co workers during training, and the atmosphere Judith creates for everyone.
I know it is hard to work in a fast paced environment and the good team can make or break the day.
I will continually come back, now I just need to get a...
