I normally think Tortilla is the BEST Mexican food I've ever had in the UK. I used to go to the one in Canary Wharf all the time and it was amazing.
This one I've been to multiple times and each time I have been disappointed.
You can only order using the online tills which removes a lot of flexibility of making your own burrito (eg. I can't order the veggie burrito but ask to not put in any grilled vegetables and give me extra rice instead for example that I always did at Canary Wharf).
There is nowhere to sit. Even Canary Wharf had a place to sit.
The burrito is not wrapped well, the ingredients aren't put in proportion, and the burrito is usually served cold.
All in all, very disappointed. Try another Tortilla nearby but...
Read moreNot impressed, has gone downhill after so many years. You get more value from Chipotle down the road and better position sizes. Hardly any guacamole in my bowl even after adding it as an extra...literally a teaspoon..just in general the bowls are a lot smaller and you are paying more...back to Chipotle for me. I think by making the ordering all electronic it is easy for the Tortilla staff to not load the bowls properly as they should be, this is where Chipotle is better as you have people serving in front of you. I can now understand why there are more queues at chipotle...
