Came here as a group of 5. We was invited in with very friendly staff from the beginning right up till the end of our meal. We felt comfortable throughout our time eating our meal and the staff always catered to our needs whenever required. Always helpful and available so a big plus to the customer service. Aesthetically the environment was nice and relaxing to be in and the seating arrangement allowed us all to sit comfortably. We was given a lovely salad with bread to open our appetites and it was very well made. We accompanied with a mixed starter which worked perfectly amongst our group. We all ordered a variety of mains but I went with the rib eye steak. The menu allows for a choice between rice or chips so I went with chips and was happy with the choice. The steak was cooked very well according to the requirements I provided and the side of chips and mushrooms complimented the steak very well. We ended finally with some baklava and Turkish to end off a perfect meal. The price to quality/food ratio was extremely good. Was pleasantly surprised with the final bill in comparison to the quality of food that was provided. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have a nice meal with excellent staff service.

Arrived around 10:45pm, the staff was kind and did not hesitate to seat us right away. We ordered hummus as a starter and the tower 1 for 2 people. The amount and quality of food was astonishing! We received a plate stacked with meats and rice and veggies— all delicious! My favorite was the chicken wings as they were both flavorful and crispy. I didn’t enjoy the beef or goat too much as it was a bit too gamey for me but other people in my party enjoyed it. The hummus portion was a bit small but it was 10/10 with the bread that was served alongside. The salad and dipping sauces were tangy and very enjoyable. We were able to eat our food as the staff closed up around us and we left by 11:30pm just because we didn’t want to stay too long as they were closing— they were still taking walk in wrap orders as we left. Overall, the staff was welcoming and kind and the meal was delicious. Would recommend but maybe come a few hours before closing as the area is a bit sketchy at night.

I've been here 3 times, once to eat in and twice for takeaway. The food is nice here, but compared to other Turkish restaurants the portion sizes are really tiny. Never in my life have I eaten at a restaurant and left hungry. I would recommend to eat here if you're posh or want to show off or something. In response to the owner: That is not true because I went there for the first time to eat in for the lunch time offer you asked if I wanted to eat in or takeaway and the same twice after when I came to order takeaway, nor did I ever mention my love of aubergines to you. Nevertheless you still haven't explained why your portion sizes are so small. Even in the pictures that other customers have provided the portions are very tiny. I ate in before and the amount of rice you get served on a plate is minuscule, and is not filling at all. You only provide a generous helping of salad when eating in which has hardly any calories and will not fill you up at all.

We arrived late in the evening, and had soups, a plate of main course to share, and soft drinks for two. The soup was understandably almost sold out, and they diluted the last portion of lentil soup in the kitchen to make sure we have enough to eat for two, which is okay considering the hour, and the nature of lentil soup (the last batch of the pan tends to get very dense as lentil settles down), but they told us that they were making some new soup for us, which annoyed me, because I worked in a restaurant for a while myself, am still regularly cooking at home, and saw exactly what was going on there with half full plates going in the kitchen, and coming back full. I would be totally fine with it, if they were honest about it.

Moreover, when I asked for the bill, I knew how much I needed to pay, so I went straight up to the cashier (I came here more often, ordered takeaway several times, and brought some friends to try out some Turkish dishes), but I noticed that I was overcharged 8%. I thought they might have included the tip this time (they typically don't add it, and ask you to choose the amount for yourself), but then I was still asked for a tip. I didn't make a fuss about it as they are usually generous to customers, and still did tip them 10%, because it is not the fault of young people serving that cashier made a possible mistake, but I am not sure if I was an honest mistake.

Overall, I am disappointed about the lowering level of honesty of trade as it was my go to neighborhood restaurant. I understand that restaurants are having a hard time, too, given the economic conjuncture in the UK, but this shouldn't be the way to make up for it. To avoid such disappointments, arrive before 10.00 PM, and ask for an itemized receipt to examine before paying the bill.

Other than that, the dishes are fresh, the portions are good, and the facilities are clean. I haven't had such problems before, and made my friends give them five stars as they ask for reviews, but I update my review based on my most...

So my family and I just ate here. Possibly the worst service ever?! It took 10 mins for them to take our order. 30 mins for drinks to arrive after ordering, and 1 hour for food to come! They were not extremely busy as they only had a few tables (around 5).

Service was absolutely awful! Besides the manager there was probably only 1 other member of staff that was decent. There were a total of 5 staff on the shop floor of which 3 didn't seem to speak any English. They all seemed confused, didn't know what they were doing, didn't know what dishes were going to what table. Just a complete disaster! Every time we asked for something they did not understand any English and called the manager or the other waiter which were probably the only 2 people who communicate with customers.

There were another 2 ladies waiting for food for a very long time. They happened to leave at the same time as us and said 'I could've died before I got that food'.

Food was just average. There are much better Turkish restaurants out there so you won't miss this if it's gone. I will never be returning here again!

I also think half the reviews on here are from people they know as there is no way they can have 4.8 stars. Especially after I complained and the manager mentioned the stars on google reviews as if he were on it everyday was a little suspicious...

The owner also only responds to good...
