Volcano Coffee Works Cafe — Restaurant in London

Reason I cannot give 5 stars is because after a good natured well mannered conversation with the server: I approached the bar to collect my drink & the barista looked startled like she was caught doing something wrong; I asked what was wrong & she said very close. Please note there is a good 60 cm width of work bench between us & this is the correct & only manner in which a takeaway customer can collect their drink!

I never enquired as to "what" was close as she was not accustomed to been challenged through discourse & I was on a pit stop...

Stumbled upon this shop for a meeting in West Dulwich. Bought a bag of the Fire House dark roast - phenomenal chocolate/caramel aroma. I had an iced latte of The Mount blend which had a great balance between bitter dark chocolate and sweeter notes. Perfect for a bright summer day.

The cafe itself is a great, well-lit space perfect for working remotely or catching up on reading. Highly recommend this establishment if you find yourself in this...

Fantastic coffee venue, one of the first decent coffee spots in SE London - expanded from what was a fairly small mainly roasting affair to getting bigger at the roasting but has a nice open cafe spot. Quite Spartan but nice decor. Has coffee of all sorts as you might expect and various arrays of pastries/cakes sourced locally...
