We visited here for a family meal and the food was up to the usual Wagamama standard and we were very pleased as always with this. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because unfortunately the service provided by the staff was slightly off. The staff were not rude and they did nothing specific wrong, however, our main waitress today unfortunately clearly didn't want to be at work and it showed in the way we were served. This, when you are in a customer-facing role, unfortunately impacts the customer’s experience, and it did today as all members of our group picked up on the lack of enthusiasm. Please note that is you have never been to a Wagamama’s before, when you order food, you can't order starters and main courses separately, all food ordered will come out when ready. Food is not served like it would be in a conventional restaurant, food will potentially come out at different times for your party. This is a Wagamana chain method of ordering food, so will be the same across the board.

Service was excellent. I came here with my two daughters and grandkids. I ordered a Samla Curry which came with rice. We were seating within minutes for a group of 8. We ordered drinks while we were deciding what to order. It also has a kiddies menu. The waitress was extremely efficient and friendly especially the children. She also got them colouring materials to entertain and keep them quiet. The food came promptly and it was very tasty indeed. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals which included chicken & prawn pad thai. Which was well presented. We arrived a bit late around 8.30pm and the place was half full then. The decor was very stylish . I just want to say a Very Big Thank You to Sinead who served us. She was an absolute delight and my 10yr old autistic grandson was smitten by her. She was amazing and went very far in making our eating experience a great one that wont be forgotten for a long time.

We came on bank holiday Sunday so it was very busy, I feel like takeaway bookings were prioritised but we still received our food in good time. Food was well presented and tasted really good, I got the vegan firecracker tofu and it was great, very spicy. Customer service was slacking a bit as in just put the food down and walked off didn’t ask if we wanted anything extra like more drinks etc. The only thing hygiene wise I was so put off by is when waitresses were bringing over food their thumbs were deep in the food bowls or on the plate under the food🤢 I really think that needs to be reassessed and maybe if it can’t be helped to wear gloves when serving food because I find that highly unhygienic. Overall good experience though I would go back in less busy hours

Avoid at all costs, bad quality on expensive prices along with unpleasant customer experience.

We've been going to this branch almost 10 years regularly as close to the shopping centre and kids like their breaded chicken with rice.

However, I have to says each time we go the disappointment has increased. The quality of the food has dropped so badly that I would rather eat on a canteen than this place. It's really not worth the money. The hotpot was off (smelled like rotten tomatoes) , everything they do is deep fried and then we wonder why are people unhealthy. Even the breaded chicken for kids is deep fried. The description of the dishes never match reality ie "stir fried sponge greens" you get over cooked French green beans with one it two sugar snaps for £7! Seriously it's disgusting, if you pass by the chefs area you will notice the pots of eg katsu sauce filled up in the morning and keeping warm to serve throughout the day! This is proper cheap style and not restaurant type of such high price. Bottom line is you can easily get much better quality on a takeaway and much cheaper than here.

The menu gets worse, every year. They used to do seafood and now they don't. The chicken the ramen is thrown in with no flavour ie check is cooked and chopped 5 days again and keep in the fridge and then chucked in when served. Disgusting.

Lastly but not least, customer service was appalling, firstly the person did not want to sit us where we wanted as he said he's short of staff ie he wanted to sit us by the door or toilet. As a customer why do I care of your operating issues, I am paying top price and expect nothing less than best customer service.

Then comes the serving of the food, so bad! One of main dishes comes FIRST before the edamane, we waited for other dishes about 10 mins so first dish got cold. Then some rice came and still not all the dishes there including the kids which should have been first ones. Finally came the super dry breaded chicken that was impossible to chew.

Overall, sad decision that will never return again even if was...

Been here countless times before and have never had an issue, in fact it's been one of my favourite places to eat since it opened. However, today was absolutely shocking. The waitress was rude and abrupt, crashing plates and glasses down as if she was trying to break them. Even though we missed the lunchtime rush, we hadn't even sat for a minute before we were rushed to order. Asked for 5 minutes and she returned after 1 minute again asking. Had kids with us so it's not going to be a quick order. When the food came, I was even more disappointed. The noodles had been burnt to the point where they were claggy and literally clumped and charred together. The prawns and chicken must have been taking a vacation as they were almost non-existent in the meal. One of our party had a curry of some sort, which was gritty in texture and apparently not pleasant at all. To top it off, the waitress didn't even bother to ask if everything was alright despite sweeping away half full plates. Perhaps this is an off day but definitely won't be coming back...

Appualing attitude of manager and rude , indifférent staff. We were the advance party of about 10. We sat outside as we didn't want to go inside. All the outside tables were set; we waited for someone to come out and take our orders; that didn't happen.

So, we gesticulated to a waitres hanging around in the doorway. She came over with a menu. We were about to order when, she said I am not serving out here and she walked back inside.

I got up and found the manager a d asked for some menus. He grabbed some and started to show me to an inside table. I said we wanted to sit outside. He then said, 'we are not doing the outside as it may rain., it was a dry day, little overcast maybe but no sign of moisture, bearing in mind it was at the taille end of the 40 degrée spelling we had. I said, 'it might snow but it's not and why are the tables set for lunch if they not in service?' To ehich, he just said we are not covering outside... I walked out, phoned the others to say we are goï g to another place that doesn't have metorologic...
