Poor customer service by the manager who was working at Bromley branch at 12.59pm at 24th October 2021. We asked how big the large katsu is and when it arrived it was a lot smaller than what she explained and was not in the same container it normally is in. We had barely any salad and barely any sauce. We explain the sauce normally comes separately in another container and she explained its never been served like this and that we need to pay more to get sauce separately. Even though I know this is not how we would normally get it few months ago in the same branch. We then asked her for her name so we can this is further but she refused and called me racist and got security to come. The security was very understanding on our side and explain to her we are not doing anything wrong and we have paid for the food and service even know she said we haven't paid, harassing, shouting at her and racist to her even thought this was all false. I am very disappointed that yo sushi can hire managers with this outragious behaviour. I will not be going to yo sushi again if yo sushi allows their employees to acuse us of racism and treat their customers this badly. As you can see in the photo this tiny box was supposed to be a large and is a completely different container that is about 2x smaller than the usual regular size I purchased a few months ago. Read moreWent to Bromley Yo Sushi for the first time, usually use the Bluewater one (which is great btw). When trying to order the Mon-Thurs from 5pm Osaka menu deal of a main/side and drink for £12.95, we were told by the server that ‘they don’t do that here’, upon questioning why, we were given no real reason and told we could not use that offer. It is adverted both online and on the menu on the tables in the actual restaurant itself. We asked to speak to the manager, who took quite some time to come over to us. When she did, she told us that the original server was a trainee and didn’t know. She took our orders, but had to show us the Osaka menu on her phone as she didn’t have the actual paper menus like other branches. She also seemed unsure about the offer herself and was clearly not familiar with it. Having spoken to friends who have also used this branch, we have discovered that everyone has been told that they do not do this offer here by different servers.
Would be interesting to know if Yo Sushi are aware that their Bromley branch are false advertising and not honouring their offers?

You need to improve how to welcome customers, check back table, order missing on drinks, have to get up and ask for it when the restaurant was completely empty so no busy staff, ask for receipt and never get it, staff rush to kick us out to stop the belt and close down? The website says closing 7 not 6.20pm on Saturday. Not very welcoming environment considering the fact is in middle of the shopping centre. Hope this review will change some attitude there and same point time the old waiter guy which is asking you at the entrance “you know the system and that’s it, not even “hello?” and throw you back to the table. The lady which took our bill was ok but not presenting any vat receipt so couldn’t bother to fight for it even when I ask for.
