I had an absolutely terrible experience with this place. I stopped by for a quick lunch and the wings were hard as a rock. It just was not edible, so I explained this to the waitress Tia who told the guys cooking that "table 4 is not happy." I waited and then was told they "might" change the wings. Might is not good enough so I asked for my money back, was told that a refund was pending and toddled on over to Wagamama where the food was more than edible.
Now the issue comes in where I was told I was refunded and I have not been. This incident happened on the 25th of June. I have gone into the Bromley store on multiple occasions to find out where my money is. Every time the staff either can't help me because they all seem to be new hires and have no clue at all how anything works or I have spoken to the manager Sergio who has asked me to wait longer. It is now the 30th of July, still no refund. It shouldn't be this difficult to refund £14.40. It should not take over a month. I shouldn't have to go and follow up this many times and still have NO REFUND.
Just before writing this review (30/07/2022 18:20) I called the Bromley store after emailing a week ago and receiving no reply. A man answered and identified himself as Sergio. As soon as I explained the situation he said, "Oh no my name is not Sergio it is Washington." Who answers the phone with someone else's name? Needless to say he was changing his identity because he did not want to help me or deal with the refund situation. Wing shack is a JOKE - HORRIBLE FOOD, TERRIBLE STAFF, ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. Read moreI genuinely have never visited such an amazing food establishment in my life, the food is delicious and the staff are extremely polite/welcoming. The whole place is very clean and the staff make sure you have everything you need with such kindness. The only thing that slightly does irritate me is that you can only pay by card however as we progress I assume most people prefer paying by card so this is just a disclaimer for those who mainly carry cash like myself 😂 I do really like the ability to order online and get it brought to you though! That’s the upside to the “pay by card” which the staff assure you’re aware of as soon as you arrive which displays very good communication to staff. 100% do recommend this place as I’ve never had an issue or noticed any flaws throughout all my visits, they also have a banging music so you can enjoy your food while having amazing background music. if I lived closer I’m sure I’d be eating here everyday! :) I also like how when you order a drink you are given ice in plastic cups as well as the can so you have a choice, most places I know don’t do this. When walking in we should have turned around. There was only two other table there no atmosphere at all. There was more staff than diners and the music was so loud. About 5 members of staff loitering around with 2 in the kitchen. I had to ask for the children's menu which really annoyed me as it wasn't like they were rushed off their feet. We ordered the food but then waited ages to the point where we nearly asked for our money back. This was because they were more interested in the take away orders than the people in their shop.
