I arranged to meet a friend here and got there at 4.30pm, a bit earlier than arranged. There were three customers when I arrived (although they left shortly afterwards) with my dog Barney and I asked if he was welcome to be told that there was a "NO DOG policy" because the pub was too small, however if I was not going to be there long it would be ok on this occassion which I did appreciate but to be honest I felt uncomfortable. I had the best pint of Guiness in town and asked if it was ok to have another and I was obliged. Without being biased my dog is extremely well liked by all, even the lady behind the bar didnt resist saying hello to him and he is very well behaved and looked after. This is a good pub with nice owners and I am not here to disrespect the house, but I would appeal that they review their "DOG POLICY" I dont know another pub in Harrow or Pinner that refuse well behaved dogs, even food houses like the Castle and the White Horse accommodate and go the extra mile with dog bowls and treats.
