I visited WatchHouse in Hampstead Heath twice. During my first visit, I ordered an iced mocha which, unfortunately, was terrible. However, when I informed the barista, they kindly made me a new drinkâa regular iced latte with honey. The barista, who I believe was the manager with long hair, was extremely lovely, and I was very pleased with the service. He explained that an iced mocha isnât something they usually make. I was very happy with my iced coffee with honey. I also tried the pistachio croissant, which was pretty basic and tasted similar to the one at Blank Street, though Blank Street might be slightly better.
On my second visit, I ordered a cardamom bun, which was really interesting and nice. Iâm eager to try the cinnamon bun next time. In terms of atmosphere, itâs extremely lovelyâa great place to sit down and catch up with a friend. However, the WatchHouse in Hampstead Heath doesnât have enough space if you plan to work on a laptop. Many tables were occupied, some by people with laptops, but it was just too busy for studying or working. If you want to work on a laptop, I would recommend finding a...

The service here is chaotic, takeouts and customers waiting to be seated have to wait along a narrow space with waiting staff passing by.
They seem to struggle with balancing coffee orders for the table and takeouts, 15 minutes is unacceptable especially as there were only 2-3 takeout customers in front of me.
This is the second time I have experienced poor and inefficient service at this branch. i am unlikely to return given the amount of coffee shops on the same road next to the Heath which is a shame as I normally like Watchhouse.
WatchHouse is one of my top favourite cafes up there for its beautiful interior and ambient atmosphere. After visiting their Somerset branch and walking past the Hampstead branch whilst it was still under construction, I was very ecstatic for it to have expanded to the NW region of London and I knew I had to give it a go once I was in Hampstead again.
I ordered a simple avocado toast with salmon and poached egg. It was delicious and light. Their seasonal coffee was decent when I tried it on another occasion. Their pastry selection is an eye catcher so I want to try this next time. But other than that, an overall pleasurable experience here
The interior is heavenly beautiful at this branch. Service is efficient and staff are warm...
