Arrrrrrgh now your talking ...Eddie well Street fish shop ...fresh food friendly place well worth visiting. ...we as a family were here tonight Tuesday 15.01.19...and we had a great meal catered to our taste cooked fresh without delay as always Eddie and reanna were very friendly and welcoming as always. If you want good fish and chips and a friendly atmosphere then this be your place to go on offer is a wide range of food available. ..so bon apatite my fellow foodies enjoy.....it just gets better and better the veggie burgers are so tasty delicious I tried them for the first time tonight and I loved it ...thankyou Eddie and reanna for looking after us so well street fish and chips well done....BUT WAIT...THERES A NEWS FLASH ..WE WENT THERE AGAIN YESTERDAY After the lockdown and the reopening of eat in places of corse these guys have worked all through the lockdown so praise for that but YUSSEF and hez young wife elef are soon to take over this venture and I must tell you Eddie is teaching all hes secrets to those young couple and I highly recommend you come and visit for the full treatment of fish at chips at the well street fish bar and meet this couple tell them les sent you you will be welcome with open arms I guarantee..so that's the update guys ..remember I love each and everyone of you ....god...

BUT UNFORTUNATELY NOW have jumped on the greedflation band wagon, with unregulated & unchecked price checks, they're just naming their own prices long term, with too many people living off of the profits so not willing to chage their profit margins, just pure greed now, for example £2.20 for a 'child' size chips, £2.70 for a small size & £3.80 for a large size, not even balanced finianacial change between sizes.

All fried fish sizes have severely shrunk like others but now what was for example a small sized cod just over a year ago is now £9.80 & classed as a large piece...

Pure greed !!!! Was 9/10 but now 1/10 They're pricing themselves out of business like...

The is far better than the other chip shop down the road in terms of your traditional English chips. This chip shop has everything you need for a traditional fish & chips meal including mushy peas. Also, which fish & chip shop these days provide you with ketchup sauce. This one does. The lady is very helpful in serving you best she can. However your reviews are depicted from your experience and when i visited the old man (owner) came down the stairs and stepped into a dust pan and brush and started crushing it very fiercely and angrily. The customer next to me made me laugh when he uttered to me "what's all the violence back there". I couldn't stop myself laughing.
