After waiting for a table for 15mins outside in the cold we were getting seriously hangry. Or at least I was. So much so we left for a nearby pizzeria. Thank goodness the pizza place was closed! WSK is exceptionally busy on a Saturday morning so probably a good idea to go early. However, it was truly worth the wait. Alot of customers ordered the smashed avocado and poached eggs, myself included. My sister had the mushrooms and blue cheese dish. Both looked and tasted wonderful. I think they were the best options on the menu, though obviously I'm biased. Also, do yourself a flavour and grab a salted caramel brownie for an afternoon treat. Sweet, gooey heaven. Poached eggs and avocado totally smashed it

I recently visited this charming café and had a wonderful breakfast experience. The food was amazing, especially the Full English Breakfast. The sausage was of great quality, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. However, the hash brown could have been fresher. I also tried the French toast, which was flavorful but had a bit too much cream on top, masking the cinnamon flavor. I recommend they serve the cream on the side so guests can control the amount they add. The highlight of my visit was the Flat White coffee – it was simply amazing. I would come back just for the coffee alone. Overall, a great place for breakfast with a cozy atmosphere and delightful food. Highly recommended!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an inviting atmosphere and warm folks running the place, who exemplified kind professionalism. The food was delicious — I had the avocado toast with poached eggs and a side salad. The portion was generous and each dish was top notch! The ingredients are clearly of a high quality and the dishes executed skillfully. The hash brown is worth a paragraph itself—the perfect ratio of crunchy exterior and pillowy soft interior, sprinkled with a large grain salt. It was inspiring! I will surely be back and recommend to those who like happiness to drop by.

We had a wonderful family breakfast at Well Street Kitchen this morning. We started with coffee latte for me and cappuccino for my wife and hot chocolate with marsh-mallows for the kids. All the drinks were delicious and perfectly made. For our second round, we had Vegan Breakfast, House Hash Brown, Mozzarella and Tomato Toastie, and Big Breakfast. The Vegan Breakfast was particularly im-pressive, with a variety of delicious and satisfying vegan options, including chick-pea scramble, tofu scramble, and avocado toast. The House Hash Brown was also excellent, with a crispy crust and fluffy interior. The Mozzarella and Tomato Toastie was a simple but delicious dish, with perfectly melted cheese and fresh tomatoes. Salmon fish slices also awesome. The Big Breakfast was also very good, with a generous portion of eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, and toast. The service at Well Street Kitchen was also excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly and hot. We also appreciated the fact that the restaurant had a variety of high chairs also plants made the environment a green which made family and children feel good. Overall, we had a great experience at Well Street Kitchen. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was family-friendly. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to...

POOR SERVICE AND BLAND FOOD!

We were given the full menu and not the early bird even though we were there for 9am. I asked if the early bird menu was still available and they said it was, makes you wonder why wasn’t it given in the first place. We had an English and a Vegie Breakfast which both tasted very bland, not half as good as it used to be. The milk in my tea was off! and I had stamps for a free coffee and was charged for it! On another occasion, I was short changed by £10, and the bloke behind the till said “Oh I did that 3 times today” and laughed it off, not even apologising! I’ve been going to this cafe for over 5 years, and had previously given it a 5* but the service and food has gone downhill and I’m afraid I will not be returning to the Well Street...

Had brunch here on Saturday and it was excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive (even tho we were seated outside) I had the breaded chicken burger and it was very fresh and flavourful with this phenomenal slaw on it. Fries were fantastic (I think they maybe had piri salt on them?). Husband had the Benedict hash and loved it — the poached eggs were perfect (watched him cut into them and we were both impressed). We had our dog with us and they brought her a water bowl which was really nice. Both had Bloody Marys which were perfectly spicy. Ended the meal with the plain cannoli—YUM. Love this place…this wasn’t our first time going but it had been a while…and we were reminded we should definitely be...
