Wok & Grill — Restaurant in London

Amazing, fantastic experience on Tuesday! After an intense study session in the Library, me and my mate were after some high quality, filling food! And this was just the place! I promised the owner a 5 star review as they thoroughly deserve it! The customer service was brilliant and he was very friendly and helpful. He loved having a chat and gave us excellent recommendations on what to order. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Fish but after how delicious the Crab Claws were I'm hooked up! They were very creamy, crispy and delicious! I will definitely be returning for that again! I definitely recommend that you also try these for starters as they were impressive. For my Main Course, I had Potato Wedges and 1/2 Grilled Chicken. I was impressed with the portion size as the portions are huge! The starters look like a main course honestly! Well worth my money! The grilled chicken tasted smoky and was cooked throughout. It was very delicious and flavoursome! It was very filling to! I understand it is hard for Wok & Grill to compete with Nandos but after eating here I'm definitely gonna return here more often than Nandos! Wok and Gtkll is delicious and well worth your money. There is a great variety on the menu with a range of Burgers and Noodle dishes hence there is everything to suit everyone's taste. There are various dessert options such as Milkshakes too. Pad Thai was full of flavour. This was the best meal of the night. The malaysian noodles were also tasty but not as good as the Pad Thai. This is mainly because the malaysian noodles dish felt like it was made using spaghetti rather than noodles. On the plus, these were both huge portions.

However, the T Bone steak was a big disappointment. Wanted it cooked to a medium well but got standard bengali super well done. Perhaps using a temperature gauge might help with this. As I was extremely hungry, and knowing that it could not be reversed, I did not raise the issue with the kitchen there and then. The quality of the meat was not great and it smelt like being 'just off the farm'. A T Bone that did not entirely look like having a 'T'. Also, steak chips were stale and rock hard (untouched).

The crispy chicken strips had zero chicken in them. These were just simply crispy batter and should be rather called fritters, looking at the small size of each piece. Again drenched in oil, and this was a greasy mess. Very difficult to eat. Chicken strips should be chunky, full of meat and a nice layer of batter. Not here.

Good sauce options. Very reasonable prices. Good sitting/dining area.

No chilli oil upon request (for a place that does noodles, this is unacceptable) :( Customer service is non-existent. Zero vibe. Don't be surprised if chefs' bring out food here. Card machine 'conveniently' forever not working. Had to run to a cash machine.

First and foremost, to food here is tasty. I always find it is well made and fresh.

Secondly, there is a very decent range of food to chose from on the menu: from American Diner style to pan Asian, so it is a good place to come with a diverse group - we always bring relatives from Yorkshire here for at least one meal when they come to stay with us in London for the weekend.

My recommendations are the lamb chops and the chicken wings, we always get one of those two as starters, even if clearly they do not go with the remainder of the meal!

The staff are very attentive in here; I have been bringing in my one year old son since he was born, i come with my wife and have been here with my work colleagues from the City. Our needs are always looked after. We come all the way from Greenwich, and it is well worth braving the horror of the Blackwall Tunnel for this great place.

Wok and Grill is a good place to eat in as many people, I would guess about 70℅, order takeaway, meaning that a table away from the door is mostly always possible.

Come and try, as the food and chilled atmosphere are brilliant. No deserts are served as far as I know, but I have only had space left at the end once, and the milkshake really did the job.
