The largest park in Bethnal Green opened in 1967. The irregular footprint owing to WWII bomb damage and “slum clearance”, decrepit former C19 weavers’ cottages and long terraces settled on narrow unsanitary streets: the current pathways in alignment with the original street/alley grid. Park features a large grassed area, a compact “woodland walk”,football pitch, outdoor gym and playgrounds. A steel silhouette sculpture “Weaving Identities” incorporates surveillance cameras, so doing, inadvertently confusing and conflating identity and identify. Pleasant and well maintained local amenity that’s worth a butchers if your hereabouts and have a yen for surveillance.

I recommend this playground for small and older kids too. It has 2 parts, it's big, clean and surrounded by a huge park.

Awesome playground for toddlers! I would say best for under 6yrs. Excellent for under 3yrs. My 2yr old loves it.

Very large play areas for them to run and climb safely. Long bridges and plenty of activities.

A smaller area (but still quite large) for smaller babies.

Located in a beautiful park (Weavers Field) that has plenty of...
